前英美工程师转投宝马 资深专家助宝马走向成功 近日,总部设在瑞士西威尔(Hinwil)的宝马-索伯车队宣称,3月中旬,53岁的前英美车队首席空气动力学工程师威勒姆-托特(Willem Toet)将正式加盟宝马-索伯车队,为车队的空气动力学组件的发展贡献力量。  宝马赛事总监马里奥-泰森对此非常兴奋,他表示:“与威勒姆-托特的签约是宝马车队增强F1赛车空气动力学组件性能的关键一步。威勒姆-托特在F1赛车的研究方面有超过20年的经验。他将利用设在西威尔总部的一流风洞和超出想像的机算机设备,为我们提供最佳的空气动力学组件。在他的支持下,我们会设计出更加强劲的2007赛季赛车,为未来的胜利打下基础。”  托特对于加盟宝马车队也非常高兴,他表示:“非常期待新工作的开始,并感谢宝马车队给我的这次机会。我将会尽最大的努力,帮助宝马-索伯车队走上成功之路。”  据了解,1952年3月威勒姆-托特于出生在荷兰的阿姆斯特丹,但是他却是在澳大利亚长大。自从托特完成学业之后,就来到福特汽车公司工作。1977年,托特开始专门研究赛车。但最初,他只是研究旅游汽车及方程式2和福特方程式等方面的赛车。1982年,托特开始为雷-迈洛克(Ray Mallock)有限车队服务,1985年,才正式进入F1。  威勒姆-托特开始加入的是杜文(Toleman)F1车队,后来转投到贝纳通车队。1994年,再次转投到法拉利车队工作了四年。1999年,托特成为英美车队的首席空气动力学工程师。
