The relationship "So you mean you only have eyes for him?" he asked "Yes", she answered firmly "But he does not care about you at all" he replied anxiously "Then what of it? Love never means to get anything from the other." again, she said firmly "But can you be courting? Don't you think its unworthy?" he continued "Unworthy??????????" she paused for a while, then, continued "There never exist worthy or not in the dictionary of love." "You meant and said that?" he asked deliberately "You know that" she said "So you would never change your mind?" He also asked intentionally "Yes" she answered steadfastly "Hence, so am I! So please don't tell me that IT IS unworthy and DO NOT try to persuade me to give up. You have the strong faith in love, and I want to tell you, I, too, have this faith in love..." he said firmly "But..." "Do not say 'but', there is no 'but' in love's dictionary, too." he said "And now, you know my attitude just as I know yours. And my only wish is that you will be happy" he continued And she was silenced for a long time...then, suddenly, she said "well, goodbye." "And..." she hesitated for a short time, and said "I wish you happy too" "I am happy because you are happy" he said They were both silenced...but just kept a little bit time, and the boy said "so... bye!" "Bye-bye" the girl replied softly. And then the boy turned away before she did, when the girl turned away and walked away, the boy turned around, and looked her figure till he connot see her any longer, and stunned there for a very long time and eventually walked to dormitory slowly...

Breathe. It will be okay. 1. Not so good – “God will never give you more than you can handle.” Even if the person has a faith system that includes God, this phrase has the tacit implication that if you can’t handle things, you must not have enough faith, you’re a bad Christian, etc. Better – “This must be so hard for you.” 2. Not so good – “I’m sure it’s all for the best.” Ack! Try really hard not to say this! Right now, the grieving person doesn’t see that anything is for the best except to have her loved one back. Better – “It’s hard to understand why these things happen.” 3. Not so good – Saying nothing at all. This is actually one of the worst things that can happen to a grieving person: having people ignore his pain. If you’re not sure what to say, or are uncertain that the person wants to talk about it, it’s okay to say just that. Better – “I’m not sure what to say but I want you to know I’m here for you.” 4. Not so good – “He’s in a better place” or “Just be happy he isn’t in pain anymore.” These things are always so well-intentioned, but ouch! The place the griever wants him to be is with her, no matter how much pain he was in or how difficult the caregiving was. Better – “You must miss him terribly.” 5. Not so good – “I know exactly how you feel.” This is very tempting to say, but be careful: Even if you have experienced a loss, each person has their own unique path to travel so you can’t know exactly how he feels. Better – “I can’t begin to understand how you feel” 不如说:“我没法真正体会你现在的 感受。”

I would not venture to say what Life is; I would onlysay what Life is like. begins like a nascent river flowing eastward, having emerged from ice and snowsomewhere up high. Converging with many a rivulet to form a powerful torrent, he embarks onhis downward dash, zigzagging by cliffs, flattening dunes and mounds, churning up sands andpebbles. He rushes along with joy, with confidence, with license. When blocked by rocks, hecharges with rage, roaring, twirling and swirling, wave after wave, until finally clearing theimposing obstacles and continuing his journey on a light-hearted note. Sometimes he rollsquietly on leveled terrain through green grass in the setting sun, caressing fine sand, givingnow and then a shy gaze at the bright peach blossoms on the banks, and singing softly whilestepping gently into the romantic rhythm of this joyful leg of his voyage. Sometimes he is caught in storms, with horrifying burst of thunder and lightning. Ripped byferocious gales and beaten by punishing downpours, he becomes, for a time, ruffled andmuddy, only to find himself refreshed and energize when embraced by the sunshine again. Atcalmer moments he is charmed by the clouds waltzing along the horizon at dusk, and smiling athim, and then by the arrival of the new moon, which sketches his silhouette, and bestows atouch of warmth in the midst of a chilly night. A yearning for a respite or slumber gnaws athim, but eventually gives way to the impetus to move on. Finally one day the ocean leaps into his view from afar. Alas! He is at the end of his journey. Sovast, so imposing, so bright, and yet so dark, the ocean is breath-taking and humbling! Whenshe greets him solemnly, he lets himself drop into her massive arms, dissolved andnaturalized, experiencing neither joy nor sorrow. Perhaps, one day he would again rise from thesea in the form of fine vapors and travels westward, to form again a river that would dash bycliffs, and look for peach blossoms on the banks. But I dare not say that’s the rebirth of hisprevious life, for I couldn’t bring myself to believe in an afterlife. Life begins also like a young tree. He starts his journey underground where he gathers vitalityand struggles to extend his tiny self to the snow above. When dew drops in early spring havemoistened the soil, he musters his courage to push up, and out comes he! It doesn’t matter tohim whether he happens to be on a level stretch of land, or on a rock, or on a wall, as long ashe can see the sky when he looks up. Oh, he sees the sky! He’s thrilled! Eagerly, he stretcheshis tender leaves upwards, inhaling fresh air, basking in the sun, singing in the rain, dancing inthe wind. He may be overshadowed and oppressed by the big trees towering over him, butempowered by his youthful vigor he manages to break free. Branching out strong, he positionshimself squarely in the burning sun. When balmy spring breezes kiss him into full blossom, hefinds himself surrounded by humming bees, fluttering butterflies, and chirping birds. He alsohears orioles whistling, cuckoos crying, or owls hooting.
If your life feels like it is If your life feels like it is lacking the power that you want and the motivation that you need, sometimes all you have to do is shift your point of view. By training your thoughts to concentrate on the bright side of things, you are more likely to have the incentive to follow through on your goals. You are less likely to be held back by negative ideas that might limit your performance. Your life can be enhanced, and your happiness enriched, when you choose to change your perspective. Don't leave your future to chance, or wait for things to get better mysteriously on their own. You must go in the direction of your hopes and aspirations. Begin to build your confidence, and work through problems rather than avoid them. Remember that power is not necessarily control over situations, but the ability to deal with whatever comes your way. Always believe that good things are possible, and remember that mistakes can be lessons that lead to discoveries. Take your fear and transform it into trust; learn to rise above anxiety and doubt. Turn your “worry hours” into “productive hours”. Take the energy that you have wasted and direct it toward every worthwhile effort that you can be involved in.

比如说,有效期可以说 成validity,规格可以说成 specification, 贮藏可以说成storage,放在儿童接触不 到的地方可以这样 说 keepout of the reach of children,等 等等等。

Life Is A Test 不要怕,生活仅仅是个测验 Life Is A Test 不要怕,生活仅仅是个测验 One of my favorite posters says, “ Life is a test. It is only a test. Had this been a real life you would have been instructed where to go and what to do.” Whenever I think of this humorous bit of wisdom, it reminds me to not take my life so seriously. When you look at life and its many challenges as a test, or series of tests, you begin to see each issue you face as an opportunity to grow, a chance to discover more about life. Whether you're being bombarded with problems, responsibilities, even insurmountable hurdles, when looked at as a test, you always have a chance to succeed, in the sense of rising above that which is challenging you. If, on the other hand, you see each new issue you face as a serious battle that must be won in order to survive, you're probably in for a very rocky journey. The only time you're likely to be happy is when everything is working out just right. And we all know how often that happens. As an experiment, see if you can apply this idea to something you are forced to deal with. Perhaps you have much pressure from your parents or you have a demanding boss. See if you can redefine the issue you face from being a “ problem” to being a test. Rather than struggling with your issue, see if there is something you can learn from it. Ask yourself, “ Why is this an issue in my life? What would it mean and what would be involved to rise above it? Could I possibly look at this issue any differently? Can I see it as a test of some kind?” If you give this strategy a try you may be surprised at your changed responses. For example, I used to struggle a great deal over the issue of my perception of not having enough time. I would rush around trying to get everything done. I blamed my schedule, my family, my circumstances, and anything else I could think of for my plight. Then it dawned on me. If I wanted to be happy, my goal didn't necessarily have to be to organize my life perfectly so that I had more time, but rather to see whether I could get to the point where I felt it was okay that I couldn't get everything done that I felt I must. In other words, my real challenge was to see my struggle as a test. Seeing this issue as a test ultimately helped me to cope with one of my biggest personal frustrations. I still struggle now and then about my perceived lack of time, but less than I used to. It has become far more acceptable to me to accept things as they are.

I just watch what they do.–Andrew Carnegie Every successful man I have heard of has done the best he could with conditions as he found them, and not waited until the next year for better.–Edgar Watson Howe Action without vision is only passing time, vision without action is merely day dreaming, but vision with action can change the world.–Nelson Mandela Don’t wait until everything is just right. It will never be perfect. There will always be challenges, obstacles and less than perfect conditions. So what. Get started now. With each step you take, you will grow stronger and stronger, more and more skilled, more and more self-confident and more and more successful.– Mark Victor Hansen
