I wanted to show appearance of creating various images as an actor, not limited images, and also for myself , I wanted to keep for a long, long time in the name of memory and efforts.--What ws the reason for building body?▲ There is no particular reason. I wanted to show the extreme images. I wanted to show different appearances along with the familiar appearances. While doing that, those other appearances happened to be muscular body.--Are you going to keep that figure for the future also?▲ I cannot absolutely maintain it. It was too much difficult. If I have to create such kind of character or figure through my work later on, I will do it again the. Probably the duration of time may be shortened then. However, it is too hard now.--What was the most difficult thing?▲ All was hard. The easiest one anomg them was to do physical exercise. The adjusment of what I eat was the most difficult one.--It is 10th anniversary since your debut. What is your feeling?▲ I have received a new actor's award in 10 years since my debut. The meaning of it is really new and I consider it another beginning from now. New energy is springing up. I feel good as the photo album also was like I challanged against the limited situation. I feel like that I will be able to do whatever it is well from now on. --We know that you have made a lot of money. Dont't you think about using it for the good causes?▲ I am thinking to return the profit from the photo exhibition in both Korea and Japan back to the society. Although I have felt somewhat awkward to do a good deed in the past, my thought has changed now. I feel that the people of ability have to do more of good deed. I have many plans for the future.--How do you think yourself about your muscular figure?▲ For myself, I feel full in my heart. A thought comes to me that I have created & overcome something. It seems that the result came out as much as I put an effort not being content with present reality.--The Japanese fans might be disappointed at the muscular appearance.▲ Is my present appearance the same as the appearances in the photos? Isn't it not? I had hunger for the variety of characters as an actor and just worked on those. They may no like those appearances. However, those appearances themselves are the appreciation of that process of making efforts and perseverence.--Was there any pleasure of work of taking photos?▲ The work itself was a pleasure. Only thing was that because I did excessive dieting, I became very edgy. When anyone ate delicious food, I became angry at it. There were too many people who teased me. I thought of it (food) even while I was sleeping. Morris posted this on its Talk Box.At the unpublicized photos of BYJ, fan-press corps were "surprised"[Star News]11/20/04 15:45"Is it really BYJ?"The unpublicized photos which were not even included in BYJ photo album was suddenly made public on 20.At the photo exhibition of the BYJ's photo album 'The Image Vol. 1' held at the Lotte Hotel in the afternoon on 20th, over 10 unpublicized photos which are not even included in the photo album appeared for the first time along with the photos which were already made public through internet, etc.The most of them were 'more powerful' than the portion which were previously made public to the degree that not only over 800 fans who came to see the photo exhibition on that day but also the press corps were shockingly surprised.A male fan told, "although I have already susrprised at the BYJ's muscles, the muscles in the photos of today showed severe curves to the degree that they might be exaggerated", and "by looking at only the face, which is too skinny to have cheek bones protruded, it is very hard to bring up the tender-imaged BYJ". It seems we don't have English translation for BYJ interview, so I will summarize the interview here. You could read the whole interview soon. Summary of BYJ interview with Chosun Ilbo BYJ said: 1. My favorite scene in WLS is the snow playing scene with Yujin at high school days. 2. I think WLS was such a huge hit in Japan partly because Japanese feel so lonely in dreary circumstances of Japan 3 All my family around world have warm and pure hearts 4. I have a plan to work for social welfare and service for whole Asia(whole Asia is fumi's interpretation of what BYJ is saying) 5. I will not accept NHK invitation. I am not good at that kind of show program. I have no plan to appear in Japanese drama. 6. people often think that I am a cool guy, but this is not true for me. 7. I want my future works to be seen beyond Asia(fumi think this means BYJ has some interests in Hollywood or Europe) 8. Korean cultural contents must be in the center of Korea boom in Asia. It is not desirable that number of stars to lead the boom. 9. It is said 21th century is the digital centure, but I think this is exatcly the reason why our sensitivity becomes the most important now. 10. I will remain as an actor for long long times(Bravo) I was in a dental clinic yesterday 6pm. I saw 6pm news in Japan in the clinic. Surprisingly(or not surprising?), BYJ appears at the top news. People in the dental clinic shouts with painful teeth(chuckles) "Yonsama, What happens to Yonsama?". Japanese news report there are so many Japanese fans and cameras in Yongsan, Seoul. The news misleads Japanese people in that they report as if everyone in Yongsan yesterday is Japanese. They interview only with Japanese ,show only Japanese cameras. So, I think Japanese anti-BYJ group would say, "You see? only Japanese, no Koreans in Yongsan" Of course, some Japanese news report as this "Interview with BYJ is the first page news in Chosun Ilbo. This is very exceptional case in Korea, showing Korean's strong interests in BYJ" But, mostly, Japanese TV reports Japanese fans are crowded around Yonsama, showing only Japanese fans there yesterday. Misleading. Where are Korean fans and fans from whole Asia in Japanese camera? By the way, I have some worry for the safety of BYJ in Japan. The best way to secure the safety is to talk with the Japanese police. The Japanese police will restrict BYJ's behaviors in Japan very strictly. But, I think this is a necessary part for BYJ's safety, so I want BOF to discuss everything with the Japanese police in details. I think it would be better to use a helicopter when BYJ appears in the buildings where photo exhiibitions are held. It is said BYJ will visit about 4 cities in Japan. If you watch TV and see a Korean guy shouting "Yongjoon A" in Japan, that will be me(chuckles)
