I'm not gay, says Thorpe"People are going to believe what they want to believe anyway," Thorpe said. "I have answered the question once (before) and I don't think I will ever answer it again because, quite frankly, it is no one's business to know anyone else's business." Thorpe, 22, first tackled the persistent rumours about his sexuality two years ago on a Sunday morning radio show. Speaking again at the drinks launch at North Sydney Pool at Milsons Point, he repeated his admiration for the gay community. "It is kind of not a minority group, but a group of people that there is a distinguishing factor that we don't have in common, and they respect and admire what I do, and I think it is a very big compliment." Thorpe said the Thorpedo brand, that will be run through the So Natural Foods brand in which he now owns a 5 per cent stake, would be used to highlight his passion for a healthy, active lifestyle. "Clearly for me this brand is a part of me," Thorpe said. "When you pick up a bottle of Thorpedo sports water, you pick up anything that's Thorpedo branded, that is a part of me in there. But I am not the actual product. "I believe that I have maintained such integrity in the products I have selected. The products are my lifestyle."
