Besides, the big name in the swimming circle, Ian Thorpe from Australia, expressed his congratulations to adidas’s joining in the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. He’s seemed very interested in the Chinese drum culture. He not only took many pictures in front of the huge drum that adidas made specially for the banquet, but also enjoyed quite striking a big drum together with Madam Sandrine Zerbib, Head of adidas, Greater China. In this traditional Chinese way, they celebrated the cooperation between adidas and the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.At the end of the banquet, all the honorable guests knocked the drums in their hands following the lead of the drum artists.
