The two 38 years old buddies started their trek in May 2006 west of Yumenguan in Gansu Province. On Tuesday they reached thefinal beacon tower at Tiger Mountain, near the North Koreanborder. Jamie Bradish, a sometimes bartender, occasional freelancewriter and wanderer of the globe, planned the trip and persuadedRob England, an old college friend, to go along. They covered anaverage of 30 kilometers （about 18 miles）a day, some of it on the wall itself and some on roads within sight of the wall. Mr. Rob England will return to the US this month; Jamie plans tospend a few more months in Asia.
