英国《每日电讯报》：罗格没有用“历史上最伟大的奥运会”来评价伦敦2012奥运会，他说过去的14天在很多方面刷新了奥运会。

巴塞罗那、悉尼和雅典这三届得到评价都是“有史以来最好的一届奥运会”，亚特兰大的评语是“最特别的一届奥运会”（美国佬很生气，要求老萨改成“最好的”，老萨没搭理），北京的评价是“无与伦比的”。
