I had a good start and the first laps were pretty ok, but then it became a bit more difficult. I felt I lacked a bit of speed to challenge the cars around me and when I did have it, I had to be careful with the tyres. It was a balancing act, trying to keep the tyres alive long enough while still going fast enough. It was a bit of a shame but in the end we got a good result. We still have margin to improve. It is way too early to say where we stand compared to our rivals, that is something we will only find out tomorrow and in the race. 【╋━】F1官网评价各车队之阿尔法罗密欧 Alfa Romeo started the opening week looking likethey were going to be a clear fourth best but as the days have ticked along, itdoes look like they're going to be in the bunch with the rest of the midfieldteams, as they ended last year. They've come out with an aggressive design andcertainly in the fast corners up at Turn Nine for example, the car looks veryhooked up. It didn't seem to have the same level of stability during thechanges of direction as the other midfield cars. 【╋━】莱科宁:小G曾为我比赛过!(意大利AUTOsprint节选) Autosprint No.8, 19 Feb2019 有一点可以确定:阿尔法罗密欧车队让莱科宁重新拾起了在法拉利5年间失去的笑容和幽默感。驾驶承载法拉利引擎的新阿尔法罗密欧F1赛车在巴塞罗那测试开始前的几天里,Kimi和Giovinazz在Balocco回顾了阿尔法罗密欧的历史和文化。这个来自米兰的品牌有着非常辉煌的传统和历史,是1950年首次获得F1世界冠军的制造商。Enzo Ferrari称阿尔法罗密欧为 “la mamma”,正是因为阿尔法让这位年轻人在差不多100年前的时候有了开始职业生涯的机会,先是作为车手,然后作为领队,运用着先进的技术。莱科宁和Giovinazzi从Balocco赛道开始初探阿尔法罗密欧的底蕴,这条历史性的阿尔法罗密欧赛道现属于FCA集团。简单来讲,Balocco之于阿尔法罗密就像 Fiorano 赛道之于法拉利。但Balocco赛道并没有Fiorano赛道那么有名,因为它更机密且限制少,这里要测试菲亚特集团研发的所有设计原型汽车,还有法拉利的汽车。

My start was pretty good but then I did not have enough speed to go through and try to pass the Mercedes at the first corner. The tires were working pretty much ok, but in this kind of circuit fuel saving plays a big part and this obviously limited our speed today. We had to shuffle the programme up a little bit.” Ferrari’s lap times were much more favourable in FP2, especially when compared to Mercedes, but when asked whether a genuine challenge is possible on Sunday the Finn replied: “It’s hard to say, we lost a lot of running today because of the weather issues. 【╋━】2015年摩纳哥站赛后总结:kimi Kimi Raikkonen: “We knew that after starting from sixth position it would have been a difficult race. I was all the time behind slower cars and there was no way to overtake them even if I had a much better pace. At the the pit stop we managed to pass one Red Bull, we gained one place but we lost it for a stupid reason. I was following my normal line when Ricciardo hit my rear tire and pushed me wide, regaining the position. It’s not very clear what you are allowed to do, it’s really odd but there’s nothing we can do. For the next races we have to make a better job overall to make sure we get tires working and things sorted out without mistakes on Saturday in qualifying. This will make our life a lot easier on Sunday. Now we go to Canada a bit happier overall but it’s too early to make predictions, we have similar tires but the layout of the track is completely different, so let’s wait and see.”

You can have all the power in the world possible but if you cant control the delivery then that power is wasted and the tyres wear out faster. Ferrari are able to close up quickly no doubts about that but after they close up they are unable to punch past the slower car just that easily. Definite lack of traction.
