【热修】15.2.1 Syndicate Changes Added standing multiplier to Sigils - the higher the tier of Sigil, the higher the multiplier. Added sigil multiplier to Syndicate mission bonus if sigil matches the Syndicate hosting the mission. Syndicate Standing gain per day now capped at 2000 + (2000 x Mastery Rank Number). For example, I am a Mastery Rank 15 player. My personal Syndicate Reputation Cap is 2000 + (2000 x 15) Using BEDMAS: 2000 + 30000 32000 is my Daily Syndicate Standing cap as a Mastery Rank 15 player. (Coming in next build, missed build cutoff!) Base Syndicate standing gain is now ten times faster than before Warframe Changes Removed LOS checks for Radial Javelin, Energy Vampire, and Shield Polarize (reverted the 15.2.0 change). Archwing Changes Reduced AI ‘sprint’ acceleration and max ‘sprint’ speed to make enemies easier to target. Updated Velocitus firing sounds. Reduced lens flare effect on Velocitus. 【更新】15.2.0 Additions: Tenno Reinforcements: RATHBONE: Archwing Melee Using Archwing’s jets for thrust, this massive hammer crushes anything in its path. VELOCITUS: Archwing Primary When fully charged, the magnetized barrel of the Velocitus accelerates a metal slug to tremendous speeds, piercing hulls and obliterating armor. New Player Quest: Introduction to Infested: Once Awake Intercepted Grineer communications reveal that Grineer have been experimenting with some sort of bio weapon. You must investigate. This new quest will be immediately available to any player who has completed Vor’s Prize, and can be accepted directly from the Codex. It will also be made available to players who skipped Vor’s Prize when the quest system was first implemented, meaning that only players who are yet to complete Vor’s Prize and are brand new to Warframe will need to wait to play! Warframe Changes: Enemies targeted by Nyx’s Mind Control no longer take friendly damage until the duration of the ability ends, at which point all accumulated damage to the target is applied at once. Vauban’s Tesla beam from the Tesla Link Mod has received an improved visual effect to reduce visual clutter when cast multiple times and Vauban’s Tesla beam from the Tesla Link Mod should now properly deal Slash damage. Excalibur’s Radial Javelin and Mag’s Shield Polarize will now check for line of sight when targeting enemies. Trinity’s Energy Vampire now only benefits teammates who can see or can be seen by the targeted victim (victims remember who they have seen for a short duration). Banish / Rift Walk will no longer stack energy regeneration when used on targets in a Cataclysm bubble. Changes: Optimized Dojo memory use to improve performance and load times. Optimized game code to improve loading times and performance. HUD will now display the correct button mapping when using a controller with a remapped button layout. Enemy spawn points are now spread into clusters in Dark Sector Conflicts. Removed brown fog from Archwing missions. Made small adjustments to flaming debris in Archwing Trench Run missions. Previewing the front sigil will now display the default color for the sigil you are viewing without changing the color of your equipped back sigil. Huras Kubrow Hunt Mod will now prompt Kubrow to pick an enemy near other enemies (since the charge is AoE). Added knockdown to Huras Kubrow charge that should make enemies hit suffer an entertaining knockback. Gilded Truth Mod will now provide a multiplier of 1.2 instead of a multiplier of 0.2. Moved Vor’s transmissions during Vor’s Prize to sit on the right hand side of the screen to reduce obstruction. Adjusted timers on special effects particles to prevent lingering FX (ie. smoke from destroyed crates). Removed Neural Sensor Requirements from Large Restore Crafting Recipes. Eximus units in the Void now require 3 scans for a Codex entry, as opposed to the original 20. Changed all entries of ‘Fire’, ‘Poison’ or ‘Freeze’ damage elements to ‘Heat’, ‘Toxin’ and ‘Cold’ respectively to remove inconsistency. Interception: Points can no longer sit neutral, they must be owned by either AI or players Score now scaled directly by the number of points you have, instead of being reduced if the AI owns more. Abandoned points (eg. was capturing but left point before completing the capture) now start to drain faster (5 seconds after leaving from 10 seconds) and drain back to the original state far quicker (at a rate of 25% per second) Updated all point prefabs so the points will start captured by the AI and must be taken by the player, score does not start accruing until a player captures a point Archwing Fixes: Fixed description for Elytron’s Core Vent ability incorrectly stated that it hurts enemies. 【热修】15.1.3 Hotfix 15.1.3 Highlighted Improvements: Continued memory optimizations to support Windows XP systems. Changes Improved performance and stability of long missions by setting a cap on active Mods in a session. 50 mods can now exist simultaneously before new mods will replace the old. Spoiler: The "50 mod" = 50 simultaneous mods. It*s not like once you hit 50 mods, they stop dropping forever. You can still pick up endless amounts of mods provided you pick them up as they drop (or wait a bit then go). The quick session I just had in 10 waves of defense yielded 3 Mods. I think the main point here is that some movement is required. Minor Improvements to Syandana physics in space. Performance improvements to mod-pickup effects. 【NEWS】武器皮肤设计活动:双斧皮肤 Over a month ago we opened up a great opportunity for anyone interested with a bit of talent in artistic design. The Warframe Weapon Skin Contest displayed three weapons for our community to reskin, challenging everyone to create a new twist on some classic Tenno tools of war. After pooling submissions for each weapon we then let members of our Design Council vote on their two favorite skins per weapon; with the winner getting the opportunity to see their creation implemented into Warframe’s Marketplace while also earning a small percentage of its Platinum sales as well. For the Dual Zoren, it means that Ming1345’s Combustion and ZeroJackdaw’s Ghastly Kuberus skins will eventually find their way into the hands of Tenno all over the world. Naturally we wanted to talk to both our winners about their design process and inspiration, and fortunately for everyone they were kind enough to let us axe them a few questions! Can you tell us a little about yourself? ZeroJackdaw: Well I*m just a small town girl. Living in a lonely wor---*cough* campus on the tip of Tennessee where I study Game Design. Let me tell you, it*s probably the most uncommon college major in the area. The most common being Bluegrass. As much as I like Bluegrass music, I wish I was kidding. When I*m not busy with school I enjoy making things in either 2D or 3D either traditionally or with a computer. Ming1345: I am 21 years old and I am from Shanghai. I work at a studio that makes FPS online games. How long have you been playing Warframe for? ZeroJackdaw: Since last Valentine*s Day I think... It*s quite funny really. I was introduced to Warframe from walking through a super-market that was advertising PS4 releases. I saw what I thought to be Excal*s beady little emissive eyes and bitty turtle mouth and was sold ever since. Still disappointed that they weren*t eyes, but that mouth is still up for debate. So, I*m not quite a veteran, but I*m not a newbie either... I*m still stuck in that weird adolescent player phase. Ming1345: I have played Warframe for more than 6 months since last December. What made you choose the Dual Zoren? ZeroJackdaw: It certainly wasn*t because I have a chronic "coptering" addiction that I can*t talk about. Heavens no, but I can say I do like melee over guns usually. Also the Zorens were quite an old weapon to work with. It felt justified to give them some love. Ming1345: Actually, I have made designs for all the 3 weapons in this contest. However, only my design for the Dual Zoren got chosen. I am very surprised and excited about it! What inspired the design of your weapon skin? ZeroJackdaw: I knew I wanted to play off of the Asian aesthetic that serves as the nice under-layer to Warframe*s art. The Kuberus or rather the Kubrow Cerberus came about from coming up with several different oni-like designs that eventually evolved into a Kubrow. The Ghastly bit came from the original test colors which just my favorite colors, teal and orange. After the colors worked so well, I pulled the ethereal idea back into the design and made all the edge work less crisp and more organic. Ming1345: Just as the name of this skin, combustion - when you fight with the enemies with the Dual Zoren, sparks fly. Other than that, the Stalker inspired me with the skin design. Were there any particular challenges to reskinning Warframe’s axes? ZeroJackdaw: Ahh, well there*s always a challenge in getting your edges to line up seamlessly or at least disguising the UV seams in a way that works. Because I went with something that didn*t follow the original skin and had a lot of organic parts. In retrospect it probably would*ve been better to just work with Zbrush P-tex then work in Photoshop. But hey I like a challenge. Ming1345: At first, I want to make a fancy skin for the Dual Zoren, but later on I found it doesn’t fit Warframe. Finally, I decided to use the flame that is inspired by the Stalker as my final design after several attempts. Do you have a favorite weapon? ZeroJackdaw: Dual Zor-- No I kid. Actually, it*s the Phage. Perhaps one of the weirdest guns in the game and is hardly a shotgun type. Not only is the gun almost more distracting than Mirage*s ultimate, it fires in a beautiful tentacle-like sine wave that*s perfect for grossing out your teammates. Also, the reload animation makes you question what your Tenno is actually holding when it squelches in excitement when tickled. Ming1345: There are a lot of weapons that I like. Among them, my favourite one is Dragon Nikana. This katana-type sword has a nice looking and a cool animation in action. It deals very high damage. Blind Justice is better than its previous stance. It also has a great improvement on speed. Any tips for future weapon skin designers? ZeroJackdaw: Make the entire emissive channel white and crank up the bloom in the post-processing. Either you*re now permanently blind, or you have the ultimate Prime weaponry. Alright, in all seriousness, design and design again. Your first idea is never the best or rather it is never original. I think my first sketch of this design was just a dragon along the side. Hardly feels creative right? Think of what will actually show up on a weapon, especially one that*s very small. There*s no point in adding detail where it won*t be seen. Finally, let the shape of the weapon inspire the skin, otherwise you get an odd contrast that really shatters the design. Ming1345: Believe in yourself and improve your skills gradually and progressively day by day. 【NEWS】TENNO语言解析 Digging through the past for answers is a constant theme in Warframe, whether we’re uncovering Archwing technology or simply working to keep Orokin relics from the hands of the Grineer. Amongst those efforts have been many community projects to search for clues that would help decipher the history of the Orokin and culture of the Tenno. Few have even discovered proof of something lurking within the walls Orokin Derelict ships. Although the Grineer and Corpus written language was cracked long ago, Tenno script has largely gone unnoticed until the efforts of a few dedicated community members. Watching the process of Tenno language decoding has been extra exciting on our end, especially in seeing how close you’ve all come. But the teasing has gone on long enough, and with incredibly creative forum members like NearlyDedicated posting learn-it-yourself script courses the time has come to unveil the secrets of the Tennobet.While many community members successfully worked out the placement of consonants and vowels it was the phonetic spelling of Tenno words that made it difficult to fully break down the language. Having to not only figure out how each word is assembled is a difficult enough task on its own, and as we can see MolganVK and StallordD came pretty close!Another wonderful primer comes from drJia, who had even touched close to a few numbers! He even takes one step further by breaking down the script into more phonetic sounds, adding TH and SH into his Tennobet breakdown. Well done!Much like how the Corpus and Grineer written language is very much representative of each faction’s attitudes, the Tennobet was created to help create a better visual balance between Tenno brute force and elegance. The process began with taking a full list of English consonants and vowels, breaking down which sounds are most often used in our day-to-day speech. For example, the sound ‘K’ is very similar to the letter ‘C’ unless ‘C’ is working to accompany other softer letters. ‘CH’ works very well with words like chair and teach, but that doesn’t really mean that Tenno would need the letter ‘C’ to exist for what we know as the word ‘Cookie.’ In this case we could easily spell out kookie and (within the contest of the sentence) still have a good idea of what the word is. Creating the Tennobet was a challenge of finding which letters, or consonant pairings, could be eliminated to create a more free-flowing written language. Once the base consonants and vowels were established we could then work out a script that incorporated this new lettering in a way that represented the visual aesthetics of Tenno culture. The end result is the Tennobet as we see it today. A beautiful sophisticated cursive used by a warrior race known more for their prowess in combat.How we write and use our words speaks volumes of our culture, and forum members like drJia, MolganVK, and StallordD were definitely on the right track in their quest to learn more about Warframe’s lore. This is in response to a lot of players not liking the default (Space/Ctrl) or getting confused by not being able to use CROUCH consistently (some were saying that toggle crouch worked, while hold crouch didn*t - in actual fact neither were true, but the default for toggle crouch is the same as the default for Down (Ctrl)). Removing the ‘Power Menu’ binding for Keyboard and Mouse, as this context action is redundant for a Keyboard and Mouse layout. Fixes: Fixed an issue with the UI Rewards screen displaying levelled up mods as rewards. Fixed an issue with Nikana weapons using the wrong animation for jump slams. Fixed an issue with Nightmare Rescue Alerts giving out additional mods. Fixed an issue with Syndicate Standing/Reputation varying if you had fewer weapons in your loadout at end of mission.
