【新闻】法海声带受损,取消澳洲巡演 Frank Ocean, the main headliner for this weekend's Splendour in the Grass music festival, has cancelled his Australian tour because of an apparently career-threatening vocal cord injury. Promoter Live Nation posted a message on its Twitter feed about 4pm this afternoon confirming the cancellation. Ocean played the first of two Melbourne shows last night at Festival Hall, during which he repeatedly apologised for having a cold. Ocean was scheduled to play again tonight at Festival Hall, then at Splendour on Sunday night at Byron Bay, followed by two shows at Sydney's Hordern Pavilion on Monday and Tuesday nights. But all remaining gigs on this tour have been cancelled.Advertisement "It has been confirmed that Ocean has suffered a small tear to one of his vocal cords and has received medical advice that he must rest his voice," Live Nation and Niche Productions said in a statement. "This makes completion of his remaining Australian dates impossible." A spokesperson from Splendour in the Grass said it was "devastating news" for the event. "We are absolutely devastated," the spokesperson said. "We are totally gutted that Frank can't make it and we know that many of our patrons will be just as disappointed as we are." The medical advice he received was that permanent damage could occur if he continued to sing, according to the festival spokesperson. Patrons who booked tickets for the Sydney and Melbourne only shows, either online or by phone, using a credit card will be automatically refunded. Those who purchased tickets from an outlet are being advised that they will need to return to the outlet to apply for a refund. It is unlikely, however, that Splendour tickets will be refunded since there are more than 70 acts at the festival, despite Ocean being the closing act of the weekend event.

In January, Brown was allegedly blocked by Ocean and his people at the Westlake Recording studio. It was reported that one of Ocean’s people attacked Brown as he attempted to shake hands with the “Thinkin Bout You” singer. As a result, one of Brown friends jumped in front of the two men and hit Ocean on the head. The L.A. County District Attorney’s Office is deciding whether or not to prosecute Brown for the brawl, although law enforcement had previously said that the case was closed. It turns out that the case wasn’t actually closed, and Brown is currently under criminal investigation for the fight. The D.A.’s office has an active file on the case, even though Ocean never formally pressed charges against Brown. Instead, he urged “sanity” and “forgiveness,” even though Brown called him a gay slur and threatened to shoot him during their encounter. The D.A. may still be able to pursue the case, even with the lack of a cooperating witness, if there is compelling evidence. The fight may come up during Chris Brown’s probation review hearing Monday. As part of his probation for his 2009 assault on Rihanna, Brown is required to obey all laws. He is expected to appear in court for the hearing. Brown is also being investigated for an alleged hit-and-run, according to TMZ. However, Brown denied the details of the accident and said that he did not lie about his personal details afterward. Sources close to the singer also insisted that the 24-year-old had not been contacted by police, and that when Brown’s lawyer tried to contact the other driver, “she hung up on him.” If it is found out that Brown violated his probation, he could face a four-year jail sentence.

That brings Mariah to the story. She’ll debut the new video for her new song, “Beautiful,” on the show on May 8th. “Beautiful” is a mid tempo pop song with an usually catchy and sophisticated melody. It’s co-written, sung and produced by newish sensation Miguel. I’ve heard “Beautiful” and it’s a hit. A real hit that fans will sing along with. The rather short–about 3 minutes, 3 seconds– single opens with Miguel singing to an acoustic guitar. After the first verse and chorus, Mariah makes a spine-tingling entrance. I am told her album, still unnamed, is just in this vein– lots of great singing, very little singing, no hip hop, all songs with a capital S. My only peeve about “Beautiful” is that it’s too short– I think the album version should be longer. And the album– it’s coming sometime between June 25th and July 7th, my sources say. First Island DefJam has to launch Kanye West’s new album, recorded in Paris, on June 18th. That’s confirmed also, but no title has been given. It should be called “Keeping Up with the Kardashians– Literally.” And here’s another scoop: while we were sleeping, Mariah changed managers. She and Randy Jackson decided their schedules were too hectic. So Carey has signed with Red Light, the same place Steven Tyler just joined. Red Light is the brainchild of Corin Capshaw, the mastermind behind Dave Matthews. It’s a hot hot agency.

His manager Christian Clancy told MTV News that the 25-year-old simply followed his intuition when planning the performance, just as he does while recording. "This is a guy who has the ability to change things, and for him to change things, he has to follow his intuition," Clancy said. "If he doesn't follow his intuition, then it's not real. The goal is to trust the guy who wrote the music to present his art, his way — Frank has incredible intuition. Just f---ing incredible. He very clearly sees things; my job is to say, no matter how far out it may be, I'm going to trust that." That intuition has certainly paid off as Ocean was recently named one ofTime's 100 Most Influential People in the World, along with Jay-Z, Beyoncé and Miguel.

Billboard announced Wednesday that Bruno Mars and R&B singer Miguel will also perform at the awards show. Those acts are finalists for the milestone award, a new honor presented to an act who has achieved a landmark on the Billboard charts in the last year. Other nominees include The Band Perry and Pitbull.Nominations for other categories haven’t been announced. Prince will receive the icon award at the show, to air live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena on ABC at 8 p.m. Eastern.

Ocean will return to the UK this summer for a series of festival dates including the Wireless Festival 2013. The bisexual rapper is reportedly working on a follow-up to Channel Orange as he said, “I’m like 10,11 songs into this next thing. It’s another cohesive thing bordering on a concept album again. At the end of Channel Orange there’s Golden Girl and I kind of want to extend that feeling into the next record. I’m going to Bora Bora when I get back and setting up a studio there and see what happens.” Ocean would be a special guest at the Wireless Festival, which will be headlined by Jay Z and Justin Timberlake with the pair debuting their ‘Legends Of The Summer’ outing. Ocean is also expected at the T In The Park Festival 2013 in Scotland.

【新闻】法海因歌曲lost被起诉 Grammy Award-winning singer Frank Ocean has been hit with a lawsuit over the song “Lost,” on his album channel ORANGE. Producer/songwriter Micah Otano filed a lawsuit in United States District Court, Central District of California, on March 6, claiming he wrote a song titled “Daylight,” with producer Malay, who is also named in the lawsuit, along with Island Def Jam and Universal. Otano accuses Malay of taking all of the production credit for “Lost,” which he claims he helped produce. Otano’s lawsuit claims that Malay directly copied “Daylight,” and turned it into “Lost.” Frank Ocean’s album channel ORANGE went on to win a Grammy Award for Best Urban Contemporary Album. Micah Otano seeks an undisclosed amount in back royalties and damages.

And you know what, he deserves it. Dude has been putting it down for a while now, making quality, adult-sounding R&B music. Things are paying off for him in a big way, and it will start on February 9th when there's a good chance he will take home a Grammy for his breakout single "I Want You," which was nominated for Best R&B Performance. Following that, we'll see Luke's debut album, Made to Love, sometime this year. So before Luke becomes the biggest thing in music, we had to catch up with the kid to talk about the Grammy nomination, what touring with Beyonce did for his career, his latest mixtape, Whispers in the Dark, and what we can expect from his debut album. Check it out below. It feels good being nominated for a Grammy, huh? Yes, it does. For the Academy to acknowledge me is awesome. It’s like the Oscars. It’s the elite of the music business. And I’ll never be able to let that go, and I’m proud of that, man. R&B is pretty young right now. How do you feel you fit into the scene? I think it’s just a vibe, man. I don’t know; I do what I do and hopefully somebody has a taste for what I do. And I try to be as honest as I can possibly be and be as much of me as I can possibly be and hopefully people accept that. I think we’re in a generation of being yourself. People can see through that fakeness. Just be who you are, man. Life is short. I fit in because I’m just going to be myself. And I’m gonna do solid music that I love and hopefully they love it, too. How much competition is in you? Like you saw Frank Ocean kill it last year so do you think to yourself “I can do that better?” No, because I can never do what Frank Ocean does. I can do music and that’s the only thing we have in common (we’re both from New Orleans, but that’s that.) He has his lane, he has this thing he does. He has his world, his life and his message. It’s coming from him. And I have my own. I don’t live his life. I don’t look at competition. It’s music. It’s art, everybody should be able to speak their mind freely and at least be given the chance to be heard. As far as competition, I don’t really look at it like that. Why do a tape — are the songs on Whispers in the Dark leftovers from the album? No. It’s a feeling. It’s like: OK, album is not coming out this year. We’re going into the New Year. I want to give my friends, my family and people who admire me something to live with, because all I have is a single, and the radio is only going to play one record, if they play it. I’m still promoting myself and I want people to get into me, which will basically, hopefully, make them feel like they want to buy my record. The album is going to be what it is. It’s going to be dope. It’s not like I set time aside, 'Oh, let me do this mixtape while I’m doing my album. Oh, this song is for the mixtape. This that.' That wasn’t the idea. It just happened to turn out that way because of time and why not give them something?

Today’s Official Charts data only counts up to midnight last night, just two hours after the BRITs finished broadcasting on ITV1 – but even in that time, big sales boosts were posted across the board for artists performing and winning on the night. Albums by Taylor Swift, Justin Timberlake and Robbie Williams also saw substantial increases in only a few hours of post- Awards sales. British Male and Breakthough winner Ben Howard’s (pictured) Every Kingdom is now on course to return to the Official Albums Chart Top 10 (it is currently at Number 9, and was at Number 46 last week), with sales surging 320% overnight. Only Love, the track performed by Howard also saw a huge spike in sales of 1156% in the hours following his performance. International Female nominee Taylor Swift’s Red climbs to Number 8 today from outside the Top 20, while British Female and Album Of The Year winner Emeli Sande’s Our Version Of Events (Number 2) and British Group winners Mumford And Sons' Babel (Number 3) each added more than 5,000 sales overnight and are on course to stay in the Top 5 on Sunday. The BRIT Awards 2013 compilation album also saw a 58.8% sales rise after the show. “As well as picking up two awards, Ben Howard and Emeli Sande were the clear winners from the BRITs sales impact overnight," said Official Charts Company Managing Director Martin Talbot. "The fact that Howard’s album quadrupled its sales is remarkable given that that only two hours’ worth of post-awards sales count towards today’s numbers – but it was also a great night for sales for Frank Ocean, Mumford And Sons, Muse and Taylor Swift.”
