Rascal Flatts will organize Flatts Fest, a multi-artist music festival,to launch in early July, band member Joe Don Rooney told CMT Radio during a Friday morning (Dec. 17) interview. "It's definitelygoing to be a multiple-artist bill for sure," he said. "It's going to be some big names. It's going to be a lot of fun. It'sjust going to be a big party." He added, "Country really hasn't had like a Lollapalooza. There's a Buzzfest that happens herein Nashville. There's Ozzfest that happens nationally. ... We [thought], 'Let's do a Flatts Fest. Let's invite some big nameartists out and just have fun and let the fans enjoy a big day of music, a big night." Specific information about the festivalhasn't been confirmed, but Rooney said, "It's going to be pretty cool. We haven't really announced who's going to be out withus yet, but it'll be a blast."
