Country music trio Rascal Flatts, which includes Joe Don Rooney ofPicher, will launch its new tour, the “JC Penney Presents RascalFlatts Nothing Like This Tour,” Friday in Raleigh, N.C.
The first leg will continue with 28 shows through Sept. 19 atBoston’s Comcast Center. Kellie Pickler and Chris Young will open forRascal Flatts on the tour.

The tour will include a 7:30 p.m. July 23 show at the BOK Center inTulsa. Tickets, on sale now, are priced at $49.50 and $69.50. Fortickets and information, go to www.bokcenter.com.
Rascal Flatts recently wrapped its “Rascal Flatts American LivingUnstoppable Tour,” which played 57 shows during its run of June 2009 toMarch 2010, with a fan attendance near 800,000. The total included thetwo sold-out stadium concerts at Chicago’s Wrigley Field and Columbus,Ohio’s Crew Stadium last summer.
