英国《每日电讯报》报道，当中国宣布将处死英国公民AkmalShaikh（阿克毛）的消息传出之后，一位英国性工作者宣布：如果中国真的处死了阿克毛，她将拒绝接待持有中国护照的嫖客一年。台湾护照不在抵制范围内，香港护照则将区别对待。一些英国人认为中国处死英国公民将会酿成严重后果，她并不指望会看到什么严重后果，但她会用实际行动让某些人知道后果。这位性工作者最后以广东话“Diu lai no mo hai”结束。
