Nokia, you disappointed me with the hardware spec's of the N97… slow processor, lack of dedicated GPU and a 5 (instead of 8 like N86) mp camera. I am very sorry to be sounding so negative but I think one of your flaws is the huge number of devices that you manufacture without having one true do it all device. N96 had a TV tuner, N97 don't. The music quality of your music express (particularly the external speakers) was not matched by N97. N86 has a 8 mp camera N97 don't. Yes we live in a world where anything we do must make MONEY-sense but think of how awesome it'll be (marketing-wise) if you created a super device. I am particularly disturbed to even think that N900 won't have features such as a FM tuner (I hope I am wrong) and a built in compass. I am not even impress with the processor speed. I think you (nokia) should be setting the pace. And another thing, I'd like very much to know what is wrong with a multi-touch based screen/OS? If it is that you are taking pride in not following what Apple have done then you should have gone into the touch screen phone market any at all. N900 should have all the features of N96, N86 and N97 combined (well maybe you could sacrifice the tv tuner). It should be multi-touch enabled, have a good built-in compass (I have been reading bad things about the one on the N97), have all the sensors found on the other N-Series phones, a dedicated GPU would be nice, more than 600MHZ processor would also be nice. I really don't know anything about that OS maemo 5 but if the OS running on the is a drawback switch to whatever one will do the trick. Nokia you can do better, take back market dominance, win the hearts of the younger generation to ensure your continued existence, even if this mean releasing a phone that you will just break even on (make little or no profit from). That'd be a truly bold marketing move.
