钻赛不像世锦赛，官方有发布明确的Entry Standards文件，钻赛我只找到一个IAAF DIAMOND LEAGUE MEETINGS 2018 Status Requirements and Regulations.pdf
里面4.1条提到
Participation of athletes in IAAF Diamond League Meetings is at the discretion of Meeting Directors. However, invitations are subject to compliance with the Rules and Procedures agreed by the General Assembly of the Diamond League AG.
意思是在符合钻赛组委会Rules and Procedures的情况下，Meeting Directors自行决定比赛的出场人员。从上下文理解，这个Meeting Directors应该是东道主的赛事总监，不是iaaf的钻赛赛事总监。这个描述很模糊，我也没找到Rules and Procedures这个文件。另外有一篇网贴提到这个问题
How does an athlete qualify to participate in Diamond League?
It's subjective and ultimately up to the meet directors
The answer is basically: Except for the two final meets in Zurich and Brussels (for which athletes are invited in descending order based on their total DL points this season), it's all based upon athlete reputation and up to the discretion of each meet director. It's usually the job of the athlete's agent to convince the meet directors that they are good enough to race at their meet.
Of course this opens up the possibility of the DL not being as "fair" as the world championships, but I generally think they do a good job of filling the fields. It's to the meet director's advantage to only invite the fastest / highest-ranking athletes anyways, because that's what people come to see.

看这段话的意思是有提供机票报销，但我觉得不合理，可能只限种子选手或有金额限制。运动员地理位置不同，欧洲本地运动员机票几百刀，亚洲美国的去欧洲，来个往返就是一两千刀，统一报销就不公平了。而且很多田赛运动员还要带教练过去，这怎么报销？特别是上海站这种，一百多个运动员过来，全是洲际航班，再加上有些带教练的，我干，如果是官方掏钱还真是不划算啊，办赛成本比欧洲高多了。不过主办方要是不掏机票钱的话，资金压力就转到运动员身上了，钻赛奖金除了前几名，剩下的名次都是1千到几千美刀的奖金，交完机票钱、教练和经纪人开销，搞不好还得倒贴。希望有高手考证一下钻石联赛旅途开销的问题，机票钱究竟是谁出
