Greetings,
If you are receiving a message when attempting to access PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds saying "you have been banned from Steam", it means that our anti-cheat partner BattlEye reported to Steam that it detected cheating/hacking software on your compter, resulting in a permanent ban. Customer Support is not able to lift this type of ban put in place by BattlEye.
If you receive a different message when attempting to get into the game that lists a time in hours, this means the suspension or ban was put in place by one of our moderators due to their detecting a violation of the terms of use / rules of conduct on your account. An example message is:
"you are banned from games for 'detecting anomalies' (24 hours left)"
We have instituted an automatic review of all moderator bans to ensure they are valid. For this reason, the ban will first appear as a 24 hour suspension. If the ban is lifted, this suspension will be removed and you will be able to access the game again. If the ban is upheld, the suspension will be replaced by a permanent ban, which will display as being a ban lasting several thousand hours.
Please be aware that as we cannot lift bans that are implemented by BattlEye, and bans implemented by our moderators are automatically reviewed, we do not provide additional reviews of bans.
Thank you,
EME Customer Support
