The all-important second album is a way off for Katy Perry, but she's already thinking about it.
Speaking after her standout Grammys performance, Perry told Insider she had a few ideas simmering.
"I will keep in the vein of making a pop album, but probably a more up-to-date pop album,'' she said.
"Some of the things on my (debut) record were from a five-year span; the second record will be more future present sonically. And I hope to make an acoustic record not too far off in the future.''
The "I Kissed A Girl" singer was in high spirits despite missing out on a Grammy and is looking forward to touring Australia in August.
And, in a totally random piece of trivia, Perry revealed to Insider that her mother's nickname for her is "Feather''.
"It's 'cos I used to whistle myself to sleep as a kid, and it reminded my mum of a bird,'' she explained, adding that her other nickname was ``KP''.
