Newly-crowned Roewe Shanghai Masters champion Ricky Walden suffered an early exit at the Royal London Watches Grand Prix as he lost 5-4 in an exciting match against Ryan Day.Flintshire's 25-year-old Walden made several brilliant comebacks in winning his maiden ranking title in China earlier this month, coming from 4-1 down against both Neil Robertson and Mark Selby before beating Ronnie O'Sullivan in the final.He threatened another fightback when he recovered from 4-2 down to 4-4 against Welshman Day, but world No 8 Day showed his break-building class in the decider with a run of 62 to clinch victory. He goes into the hat for the last 16 draw, which takes place on Tuesday at 1.30pm.
