Alyssa Baumann of Plano, Texas/WOGA, has withdrawn from the U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Gymnastics. Baumann injured her left elbow while training on the uneven bars on June 29. Based on early evaluations, she has torn several ligaments and muscles. Baumann is seeing her local physicians to determine the best course of treatment, but the injury precludes her from competing in the Trials. We wish her a speedy recovery.
