Adele's 25 beats James to Official Albums Chart top spot
Adele continues to prove unbeatable as she extends her lead the Official Albums Chart once again this week.
After a strong start from Manchester band James, who lead the way with their new album earlier this week, Adele’s 25 has since managed to overtake them to log itself at 12th non-consecutive week at the summit.

The presence of Adele's 25 at No.1 - for the 12th time in 18 weeks, and the third time in a row - lend a more contemporary look to the top of the chart.
With Easter approaching and a new Now! compilation on release, the market overall recovered a little from the 21-year low it plumbed a week ago, but despite Adele's ongoing UK tour sales of 25 nevertheless fell again last week, fading 8.22% to 20,915 - its own lowest weekly sale, and the lowest for a No.1 artist album for 21 weeks.
