左Shift如何使字母上屏

我想在中文输入状态下，按左shift能使字母上屏，并切换大英文输入状态下，请问如何实现。我的想法是修改 default.custom.yaml, 加入
"ascii_composer/switch_key/Shift_L": "commit_raw_input"
可为什么重部署后左shift完全失效。
