Kate Winslet gave a touching tribute at the London Film Critics' Circle Awards to fellow actor Alan Rickman, who died of pancreatic cancer last week.
The actress tearfully started the tribute by asking the audience to stand up and to clap in honour of the late actor.
After the applause ended, the British starlet said: "It a funny time to be nominatied for things and accepting prizes, when people as great as him have left us."
She went on to regale the audience with a story of her early says as young actress working with Rickman in the 1995 film Sense and Sensibility.
"I was standing in costume when my knickers when up my bum... And so I was yanking at my pants.. When Alan says 'feminine mystique strikes again'".

请原谅我这么说，但这个礼拜实在是太糟糕了，Alan离开了……我不知道是否可以请你们大家起立，鼓掌。
（鼓掌和啜泣……妈蛋！）
谢谢你们这么做。在Alan这样一个了不起的人离开我们之际，我还在这里被提名被授奖，真的很可笑。但是我不想讲那些悲伤的事情，如果可以的话，我给大家分享一个关于Alan的搞笑的故事。
我19岁那年和他一起合作（《理智与情感》），进片场第一天简直要吓尿。我记得他看着我，我感到前所未有的渺小。几个星期的合作之后，我才意识到他是个多么优秀又温暖的人。我穿着《理智与情感》的戏服，但我的内裤滑落了。你们可以想象，穿着那样的衣服，还要把内裤从屁股中扯出来，是很崩溃的。我就在那从裤子里拉内裤，艾玛汤普森站在旁边，我内心是崩溃的是极度草泥马的。这个时候只听到Alan说，啊，女性世界之十万个为什么又来了。。
