Adele basically owns Christmas as Fallon Tonight, Saturday Night Live appearances & concert special to re-air this week!
Adele may have just sold more than 6 million copies of her new album ’25’ over in the US, but she isn’t going to let the promo slow down quite yet.
Over the past few weeks Adele has done a lot of promo, especially in the US and in the UK. Over in the US she had appearances on the Today Show, Jimmy Fallon, Saturday Night Live, and she did of course have her very own NBC special, which was filmed in New York City.
Unfortunately, there aren’t many more appearances coming up for Adele, especially not until next year, but with her album having been such a smash in the U.S., she is set to OWN the network this Christmas.
According to the TV listings, all three of her special NBC appearances, which aired in conjunction with the release of her new album, are set to be broadcast yet again this week as they did so well for the network. Ratings = Winning! Not only that, we reckon that by broadcasting her appearances yet again, it will give her album another push, not that it needs it. Plus, we’re not sure there are many more Americans out there who don’t own a copy yet. Just how many more people can go out and grab a copy? It’s crazy.
It has been confirmed that this evening that the Jimmy Fallon episode featuring Adele will be rebroadcast. Earlier today, a tweet from the Fallon Tonight Twitter account read that tonight’s episode will feature music from Adele. Unfortunately, it isn’t a second appearance, it is just the same episode.
“On the show tonight we have @KellyRipa & music from @Adele! Plus, Jimmy and Adele play Box of Lies — tune in! #FallonTonight,” the tweet reads.
Elsewhere, Adele’s hour-long concert special, ‘Adele in New York City’ will be broadcast once again on Wednesday, December 23 at 9pm on NBC, and following on from that on December 26, the Saturday Night Live episode, in which Adele served as the musical guest will also be aired once again.
It looks like this Christmas is well and truly Adele’s, especially over at NBC.
