剧情介绍: Joy was a student living in countryside. One day, her father got sick, before he died he gave her his diary and told her to go live with her aunt, she was living in the big city, the well known house called 慴arn Sai Tong?(in khmer : Vemean Ksak Mie). He wanted his sister to help Joy with her studying. He had written her a letter days before and his sister didn抰 like that at all. Joy packed her suitcase and went there. While Potjanee (her sister) was jealous because she thought that their father loved Joy more than her and that Joy always gets the best thing in life. When Joy came to Barn Sai Thong, everyone was mean to her, especially Num抯 youngest sister Ying Lek and and her mother (who is Joy抯 aunt) and this one servant.

They treated her like she was a poor girl who didn抰 have a place to live that 憇 why she came to the sand house. Only Num抯 oldest sister and youngest brother, Chai Noi, was nice to her. Joy was living in a small house with Chai Noi and his caretaker. Joy was very close to this kid, Chai Noi didn抰 have a very nice life because he was handicap and his mom didn抰 accept him like a son because of that. After reading her dad抯 diary, Joy found out that the sand house belongs to her father , that means her. Even if everybody was mean to her, she never said a word about it. One day, near the house, she saw an old lady, she thought it was a ghost, she was so scared that she ran away and she ran into Num! Days later, Joy got really sick and her aunt didn抰 want a doctor to come to see her. Chai Noi was worried about her so he told Num. Num finally took her to hospital and he went to see her too, but she was always asleep or some friends came over to see her. Num accidently saw her diary and read it. He now knew the real story behing the sand house. He decided that Joy would live in the sand house from now on, like a family member.

When Joy came home from the hospital, she wanted to leave because she couldn抰 take it anymore, being surrounded by mean people. She was very suprised that Num had decided to let her live in the big house, but she didn抰 understand why. She was ready to leave the house but Num and Joy had a talk, it was more like an arguing, but then everything was ok. Num decided that he would be reponsible of Joy about her school and the money she will spend. But then, he had to leave the country or something like that for his job. All of a sudden Ying Lek was really nice to him because she wanted him to give her the responsability to watch over Joy when he will be gone, Num acceppted her offer. Of course she had no good intention, she introduced Joy to all bad guy hoping she would be a bad girl and loose her virginity. But it didn抰 work out. Later, Joy dropped out of school because she wanted to get a job, her aunt really upset her by saying that she uses all of Num抯 money.

From the beginning Ying Lek had a boyfriend, Tun Thom, they were now engaged. But Tun Thom, who is also Num抯 friend, fell in love with Joy. He wanted to end the engagement and marry Joy instead. Ying Lek was more angry at Joy now. After Num抯 grandfather died, everyone knew the real story behind the sand house : it now belongs to Joy. But Joy didn抰 want the house, she wanted Num to be the owner of the house. Finally, Num came back home, but one the same day Joy had to leave the sand house to go back home because she got a letter from her mom to return home as soon as possible. When Num came home, he bought a present to everyone, even Joy, it was a beautiful neckless, but he didn抰 have to guts to give it to her so he wanted his older sister to give it to her for him, but she refused, she wanted him to do it himself. Num decided to see Joy at her hometown. When Joy came home she was very dissappointed by her family. Her brother had already a baby even if he didn抰 get married while Potjanee ran away with a guy. Her mom insisted that she marry this rich guy of the hometown. On the same day when she was meeting the rich guy, Num came. Joy was very happy to see him but sadly he didn抰 came here just to see her?he told her about Tun Thom who wanted to marry her and how dissappointed he was of her for dropping school匟e then told her to come to the house because she was the owner and that he didn抰 need her pitty for him. He didn抰 mind leaving the house. Finally Joy, returned to the sand house and she knew what she wanted. She loved Num and this time she抯 not going to let it go. The next day Tun Thom came by to get an answer from Joy, at the same time, one of Joy抯 male friend Nakun came. He loved her too! So there were 3 guys at the sand house waiting for an answer匓efore she went to meet all these guys, Num抯 oldest sister gave her the neckless that Num brought to her! Joy told Tun Thom that she loved him as a brother only and she told Nakun she loved him as a friend. Num was really sad that day, he thought for sure that she will marry Tun Thom ! Finally, Joy told him that she loved only him. On their wedding day, all of a sudden, Potjanee came to Joy抯 wedding. She heard that news because she was a servant in Ying Oom抯 house. After they got married, Potjanee started to make troubles, she was trying to flirt with Num! Also, Num抯 mom had spread rumors that Num married Joy only to live in the sand house not because he loved her. That really upsets Joy because Num never told her ? I Love You ?, to Num, he thought that he didn抰 have to say that, his actions prove that he loves her. Sadly, Num抯 youngest brother died卋ecause of his mother. After his death, things kinda change. Num抯 mom realize that she was wrong and finally accept Joy as her daughter. And Num finally told Joy that he loved her. As for Ying Lek, she got married but her husband was doing illegal stuff so he is now in prison, and Ying Oom married Tun Thom!
