还记不记得在之前一个贴里你曾问我有关ol被砍掉的内容里那个关于高精外表的“完美”论是怎么来的，但我当时也完全对这个“完美”论完全不了解以为只是高精非常追求他们血统上的纯正，不允许混杂有任何其他民族的血统和外貌特征而已............
然后，直到这两天，我翻了翻之前收藏的几个老帖......

这段不是某帝国官员的扯淡吗？还吐槽了高精灵的园艺和名字，说名字实际上都是数字编号什么的orz，我的感觉就是这篇东西可能从一定程度上反映了夏暮岛上的一些事实，但没有那么夸张（Elenwen其实还真有点像数字的说）

Ok, why do other people brag about her being a archetypal adventurer? It's still not a quality that the Altmer value, whether it's coming out of her mouth or out of someone else's. I would expect an Altmer and the queen herself to talk about how she was a very fast learner and talented child, how her birth was on a special date, how she completed some ancient ritual especially well, or the prophesy that she would be exactly what the islands needed in this tumultuous time. And while I don't remember the exact line, she definitely does allude to having adventures. She talks about one the first time you meet. Even if you don't take her saying it as confirmation that it happened, it still shows that it's something she values and thinks will endear her to her to you.
Yes, she's not meant to be the typical queen, precisely because so many people think that the Altmer are Nazis. ESO took the route of rebranding Altmer to be more alongside other races, leaving any kind of negative attitudes to the villains or minor NPCs. But it wasn't the only possible route: the main race of Morrowind were slavers assholes, and everyone in Warhammer 40k is a a total jerk if not outright evil, and yet millions of people enjoy those games and gladly roleplay those characters. I believe that the writers of ESO could have made people like and want to play Altmer characters without making them more along the lines of the human races. In fact, I know this is the case, because it is exactly what happened in the cut Alinor content, which struck all the right chords in terms of both worldbuilding and staying true to previously established norms. I know that they could do it because they did it with Bosmer. Instead, they didn't even give any hint that anything had changed.
That aside, "they're not meant to be typical" can be said for anybody. In what I've played of ESO, she doesn't stand out as all that atypical from the rest of her people. Which is what I meant when I said that she makes sense in context.
I'm not sure why you're implying that "racist" and "babykiller" were the only two points of world building done for the Altmer in the 20 years of TES history prior to ESO.
