下面是英文版的全文JUAN PABLO IN THE UK AND KIMI IN SWITZERLAND – ALL IN A DAY’S WORK FOR THE TEAM McLAREN MERCEDES DRIVERS AND CORPORATE PARTNER TAG HEUERTeam McLaren Mercedes’ Partners always come up with exciting and dynamic promotional events involving the drivers, but TAG Heuer pushed the boundaries recently when the Swiss timepiece company took Kimi and Juan Pablo to two different countries to take part in two separate events on the same day! Juan Pablo was at the Sunningdale golf club in the UK, taking part in the TAG Heuer Link Challenge 2005. Juan Pablo take part in a putting competition, while model Jodie Kidd, England cricket captain Michael Vaughan and Ryder Cup winner Ian Poulter were among the guests at the high profile event. Meanwhile out in Zurich Kimi was taking part in an event at a local karting centre. After taking part in a Q&A session with ex Formula One driver Marc Surer, Kimi then signed autographs for the event attendees. He was then given a special Kimi /TAG Heuer branded go-kart and completed a breathtaking 10 laps around the indoor track setting a lap time (which broke the existing circuit record) and set the standard for the remaining guests to try to beat. The attendees, who consisted of media and TAG Heuer’s leading customers and retailers, then took part in an elimination competition on the circuit, with Kimi waving the flag to start the race. Eventually the guests were whittled down to the final few who then battled against each other until the overall winner was crowned. Kimi then presented the winners with their prizes – which included a TAG Heuer jacket, sunglasses and watch and had their photographs taken with them.
