作为BUNGIE时代最后一部HALO作品，bungie工作室果然没让我们失望，只不过本作的主角不再是我们的士官长，而是有玩家塑造的一名无名士兵，和诺贝尔小队的其他成员在守卫人类一颗名叫致远星的殖民星球的故事，看过小说的朋友都这知道这是一个早已被剧透的悲壮故事，我就不在此透露啦，感兴趣的朋友可以去看看小说。
