本片讲述大学新生Cooper(Sam Tsui),他试图赢得他的助教，Bianca(Allison Williams)的心。Cooper是如此迷恋Bianca,他不能在英语课上集中精力听讲,他在心中高歌I Want to Bone My TA。由于随后的考试不及格,如果他的表现没有改善，Cooper将失去他的大学奖学金（也就是预告片中的场景）。
