Belgian GP: Toro Rosso Friday practice notesTonio Liuzzi: "I started the morning with problems with the balance on the car and big understeer in the medium and slow speed corner. We had this situation for my first three runs. Then the session ended when the front locked up in corner 8, which put me off the track." "At the start of the second session, it felt like I was in a completely different car as it had gone the opposite way to the morning, with the car feeling very light in the rear, but much more driveable. I had a strong first run, but on my out lap for my second run, I had to stop because of a problem with the rear end of the car, which we are investigating."

Tonio Liuzzi: "After a nightmare yesterday, with very few laps because of a problem on the car, it went much better today, resulting in me getting through to Q2. I had found it difficult to get the right balance on the car so we were expecting a difficult Saturday. Fortunately, everything went fine, except that I am not feeling that well and have been sick a lot. I think we did a great job in qualifying to get ahead of a Williams which I am sure is a quicker car. We could not have achieved more than this."

Belgian GP:12thTonio Liuzzi: 12th "I feel I drove a good race, with some nice passing moves. This weekend started on Friday with several problems, but qualifying went very well and I gained two places on the grid because of other people's problems. So I don't think we could have done better." "Given how difficult this track is, I think the weekend went better than expected, as we showed we had a good race pace compared to the Red Bull Racing cars. It was a job well done apart from a problem with the right front wheel during the pit stop which cost me a few seconds, that meant I could not fight with Button. But he retired anyway."
