隐形(invisible)的就是隐秘(secret)的，Gate跟Door没啥区别，反正就是指审判席。

隐秘的门建在Padhome的祭坛，同时也是Boethiah的家。这说明Boethiah跟Lorkhan有某种暧昧关系。不过我觉得这里的"a secret door"不一定指的是审判席，这首祷词的历史应该比审判席还久远。

这里塔不再是八辐轮的侧面，而是隐秘三角的侧面。

THE CENTER THAT CANNOT HOLD

There is no true symbolism of the center. The Sharmat will believe there is. He will feel that he can cause years of exuberance from sitting in the sacred, when really no one can leave that state and cause anything more but strife. [11]
The Sharmat sleeps at the center. He cannot bear to see it removed, the world of reference. [13]
三十六课中说的"the center"不是白金塔，而是红山。
The center cannot hold. It becomes devoid of lines and points. It becomes devoid of anything and so becomes a receptacle. This is its usefulness at the end. This is its promise. [13]
"the center"是虚空，也许跟Lorkhan被挖空心脏的胸腔有关？

"begotten hole"是第二条蛇(Lorkhan)，也就是说中央的虚空就是Lorkhan。

这里的表述就更明显了，因为Vivec就是Veloth（的形象/转世/披甲者）。

轮 = 毂 = 中央的虚空
Nerevar给轮安上辐条，稳定了轮毂，移除了中央的虚空，如同第十三课中所说。I

THE SPACE THAT WAS NOT A SPACE / THE PROVISIONAL HOUSE

"non-spatial space"也就是"the space that was not a space"也就是Lorkhan的神性火花被移除后的虚空。但是这里说凡人的互动和沟通让这个虚空出现了"some semblance of a divine spark"。也许在说信徒给神提供的力量？
Vivec then built the Provisional House at the Center of the Secret Door. From here he could watch the age to come. [19]

"the Provisional House"的具体象征意义我也说不清。说这个房间是临时的，大概是因为它必须被移除？I

SLAVE

这里我的理解，"slave labor"就是指凡人的辛劳。

stasis = ANU 于是"lazy slaves"应该就是指Aedra 不愿改变所以说"lazy" 被困现世所以是"slaves"

"jailers"跟"slaves"相对

"hostage"也就是"slaves"，这句话说的是世界终结？还是反转创世还是个人脱离现世？我没看明白。

这一课说的是Nerevar试图暴力登天，"the slaves that perish"我的理解是“凡人（降次后的Etada）”，登天就是要让自己永存(not perish)

注意这里和上面表述不同。上面是“不属于会消失的奴隶”，下面是“属于不会消失的奴隶”。后面变成了“属于奴隶”，是因为Nerevar登天失败了。不过他还是不会消失的。I

我搜了一下motif这个词在36课里只出现了2次，那这些东西是怎么和这个主题联系上的？

THE COMPROMISE

"black sea"指的应该是湮灭(the waters of Oblivion)，那么"the compromise"就是现世了。
话说审判席居然还有关湮灭门的功能~

我觉得这里的“逃离”的意思大概只是“有幸避过”的意思而已。不过有没有可能有特殊含义？比如Lorkhan曾经对魔神们也威逼利诱过？也许原本的创世计划是要包含Padomay系的Etada们的？
话说我觉得把现世叫做"the compromise"确实挺恰当的。“妥协”就意味着未能完美地按照原计划实施，同时"compromise"还有“让...弱化/受损/陷入危险”的意思。在现世成为危险之后，众圣灵采取的方式也是通过“相互妥协”达成协议：Lorkhan向龙王妥协被杀，最强的圣灵们也向现世妥协牺牲自己撑起世界轮。I

THE MERCY SEAT

"the mercy seat"是武器的秘密，是Vivec的王座。既然Vivec是"the sword of the triune"，那么他的王座大概是“剑柄”？“剑鞘”？
顺便提一下，"I am become"等于"I have become"，比较陈旧的英语语法，英王钦定版圣经中就经常这么使用。Reman说的那句"I am Cyrodiil come."也就是"I am Cyrodiil and I am/have come."这句话的语法曾经让我纠结了很长时间。

也许"lion or serpent or mathematician"指的是最强的战/盗/法，都是"the representatives of kingdoms below"？
但这样还是解释不了"The Sun shall be eaten by lions"是什么意思。注意这里的lions是复数，且"Sun"是大写而"lions"却没有，所以大概指的不是龙神怒而吞老马？I

LIBRARY

'The moon does not recognize crowns or scepters... We seek no Queens or thrones. Your appearance is decidedly solar, which is to say a library of stolen ideas...' [16]
这段话是"the Parliament of Craters"对Hortator说的。Nerevar想要暴力登天，然后拿着斧头去了第一颗月亮，但是"the Parliament of Craters"不承认他。我感觉这句话只是他们用来打发Hortator离开月亮（去太阳）的说辞。
The Hortator was still trying to subdue the heavens with an axe. He was thrown out of the library of the sun by the power of Magnus. [17]
明显，太阳也不承认Nerevar的王权。
但是为啥要把太阳说成是“一座偷来的知识的图书馆”呢？也许是因为老马的观察者身份？他拥有的知识都只是从它人身上看到的，而不是他自己创造的，所以说是偷来的？
那么Nerevar又是如何成为“妥妥的太阳型(decidedly solar)”的了呢？难不成是因为人家是英俊潇洒的户外运动型~？
另外36课中还出现了两次"libraries"，不过我觉得跟上面的主题无关。
