Queen Biography 1993To coincide with the anniversary of the Tribute Concert the 'Five Live EP' is released. It features George Michael version of 'Somebody to Love' - one of the highlights of the tribute concert. It enters the UK chart at number one and stays there for five weeks - with all profits going to charity. Whilst the UK got the EP some territories were issued with 'Somebody To Love' as a single and 'Five Live' as a mini album. Brian is still busy touring, and much to the fans delight releases a live album 'Live At Brixton Academy'. For once the fans don't have to rely on poor quality bootlegs. A remixed version of Freddie's 'Living On My Own' is released, reaching number one in the UK, and eventually selling more than two million copies worldwide. Brian continues touring and Roger starts work on his solo album. Queen Biography 1994Roger releases his third solo album 'Happiness?', which enters the UK Chart at number 22. The proceeding single 'Nazis 1994' sparks controversy as it is refused air-play on Radio One and many shops don't sell it for fear of Neo-Nazis reprisals. Roger does a tour of Japan, Britain and some parts of Europe. Work continues on the new Queen album. At the end of the year Brian composes the music for a Radio One serial 'Spider-Man' Queen Biography 1995The year is quiet with the band busy at work until October when the new single, "Heaven for Everyone", is released. It crashes into the UK Top Twenty at number 2, and becomes a worldwide hit. Two weeks later the album "Made In Heaven" is released and enters the UK and other countries charts at number 1. A Christmas single is released, entitled "A Winters Tale" which enters the UK chart at number 6.
