很多时候elliott给人的印象都是悲伤痛苦，忧郁而沉默寡言的，许多人都没有看到这一点，其实elliott是非常幽默有趣的~
说说Elliott曾经说过有趣的东西吧

fan: "how's your hand?"
elliott: "oh, you know, it's okay... no problems... still works ... you know, mankind... the tool builder." (makes several funny gestures with his hand)
crowd: (silence)
elliott: hmmm... that's one of those things that i hear myself say, and then i play the show and go home and i think "what the HELL did i say?"
Fan：你的手如何？
Elliott：噢，你知道，它很好...没问题...还可以工作...你知道的，人类的...制造工具的东西。（两只手做了好几个有趣的动作）
fan：...
Elliott：嗯...这是我听到自己说的那些东西，然后我表演完，回家，我想“见鬼我又说了什么？！”

elliott: "what we need are some dancers. or maybe ...answers? does anybody have any answers."
someone in crowd: "your ass!"
elliott: "my ass?!? that's a good answer."
elliott:我们需要的是一些舞者,或者...也许...还有什么？谁有答案？
人群中的一人：你的屁股！！
Elliott：我的...屁股？！？？这是个好答案！

"[Singing]
I’m standing up, the morning after… (laughs) I lost my train of thought because
I’m sitting down, not standing up!"
Elliott:【唱】I'm standing up the morning after...（Say yes）（笑）我想不起来了，因为我现在坐着，而不是standing up!

Elliott:"He brought some pictures by and I realized that I was wearing the same shirt that was on the cover of my last record. I was like, Jesus, anybody that cares to notice is gonna be like, ‘What, does this guy only have one fuvking shirt? Does he ever bathe? He looks exactly the same as he did a year ago.’"
Elliott:他带来了一些图片，我发现所有图上我都穿着我最后一张砖封面上的那件t-shirt...我想，天啊，任何在意的人要是注意到这个不就会想“什么，这个人是不是只有一件该死的衬衫？？他洗过澡吗？？他和一年前看上去一模一样！”
这个最好笑....原来elliott也发现自己总是穿那件蓝色t-shirt啊哈哈

Girl: Play it!
ES: Well I just plugged into this guitar and its in a different tuning...
Girl: Don't be cranky!
ES: What?

Crowd: OOOOOOOOOOHHHHHH!
ES: Do I look cranky?...
Crowd: No!
ES: You're making me ****ing cranky....It's a good way to make me cranky. But I'm not gonna get cranky. (laughs)
ES: (Screws up the intro to Independence Day) Damn!, look what you did!

人群中一女孩：唱The Biggest Lie吧！
E：我会弹the biggest lie的,也许...
Girl：唱吧！
E：嗯..我只是在把吉他调到不同的调...
Girl:不要胡思乱想！！
E：不要胡思乱想？！
人群：OOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHH（起哄中...）
E：我看起来在胡思乱想吗？
人群：不！！
E：你特么让我胡思乱想了......这是个让我胡思乱想的好方法，但我不会胡思乱想哈哈哈
E:（搞乱了Independence Day的开头）该死！看你做了什么！！

Crowd: Elliott rocks, man!
Elliott: *Insulted tone* I don't rock!

...elliott play in may 2000 at the 9:30 club, his parents were there.. and at one point he pointed them at to the crowd.. and everyone said hi to his parents.. elliott seemed so happy and proud that they were there! and then later in the show he messed up during 'better be quiet now'... when he messed up he said "Oh shit!" and then put his finger in front of his mouth and said "shhh.. you didn't hear that"..
elliott2000年5月12号在the 9:30 club的演唱会，他的父母都去看了，在唱最后一首歌前elliott指出了在人群中的父母。人们和他们打了招呼，elliott看到他们在那里非常开心，非常自豪！后来他唱i better be quiet now的时候忘词了...下意识说了声 “oh shit!"（突然想到爸妈还在~）赶紧把手指放在嘴前，“嘘....你什么都没听到...."
那场演唱会上他也没有唱歌里任何一个"bad word",特可爱这娃

"When he was a little boy he hated to get dressed up, to wear button-up shirts," said his mother Bunny. "I asked him once why he didn't like to dress up. He said it was because the buttons smelled bad."
“当他是个小男孩时他讨厌打扮，讨厌穿带扣子的衬衫”Elliott的母亲Bunny说。“我曾问过他为什么不喜欢打扮。他告诉我因为扣子很难闻..."
Cute！！

ES: Well...huh... man...I've been playing for a ****in hour....don't you think it should be the last one?
Crowd: NOOOOOOOOOO!
ES: Ok, then this is the next to last one.
(Starts playing The Biggest Lie)

E：该死我已经唱了那首歌...（轻声偷笑~）
E：这真的是最后一首歌了

E：嗯...呃....朋友.....我已经唱了特么一个小时了....你不觉得这应该是最后一首了吗....
crowd member:不！！！！！！！！！！！！！！！！！
E：好吧，接下来是倒数第二首..

但鼓声已经响起，ba ba ba ba...Elliott只能边笑边唱了~
要唱oasis的supersonic，Elliott特紧张地唱 "maybe it'll piss no one off, theres no reason to get pissed off.. its better to stay away from being pissed off'（也许没人会被它（翻唱这歌）激怒，嗯，没理由被它惹恼...它最好不要那样让人生气...)
这娃紧张起来真可爱...不过这个supersonic的翻唱真挺特别，情意绵绵的

Elliotts lookin to turn the lights down and hes like "Is there another light? I can sorta see, its more fun when I cant see" then someone asks "whens the new album out?" Everyone giggles and Elliotts kinda nervously laughing "uummm" and then another fan yells out "whats the story?" and Ell's like "its a long story, its a long story and at this point its turned into a double record" (applause) "although it might be released as a single record with an extra cd and like...so...for.. so the price would be the same then on the inside like i d write some liner notes that say its not a bonus cd its a second cd... (laughter) "so maybe i can get around it like that" "it'll be more songs then youd eeeevver want to hear" "but when?...um... that..Oh man!!! its been almost, almost done for a long time and if i get into the story of that I might as well not sing anymore songs and tell you the story for 45 minutes...hehe i love it sorry its so long I got carried away...

Elliott想把灯光调暗一点。“那里还有另一盏灯吗？我可以看到一点...我看不到的时候更好玩”。
接着一个人问：“新砖什么时候出？”，每个人都笑着起哄，
Elliott有点紧张地笑“嗯....”。
“有什么故事？”另一个饭喊。
Elliott:“这是个很长的故事，这是个很长的故事，在这点上它变成了双CD..(FABOH原本是双CD）”（掌声）“尽管它可能以一个单曲碟和一个附赠碟发行...所以...给....所以价格和双CD是相同的...那么我会在CD里写上说明这不是一个赠送CD而是第二张CD....”（笑声）“所以我可以像这样解决它”“里面会有更多你一...一直想听到的歌。
“但是什么时候....嗯.....那个....噢！！朋友！！这已经说了太久太久了！！如果我继续这个故事，我还不如不要唱其他歌，来和你讲45分钟的故事....嘿嘿，我喜欢它....原谅我扯了这么久。”
哪有这样转移话题的！！！！！
