New film pays tribute to forgotten heroes of Monte Cassino

Kit Harington, who starred as Albert in the original West End production of War Horse, is tipped to play the lead – an American soldier involved in the assaults on the fiercely defended town of Cassino and its hilltop abbey of St Benedict. The soldier is wounded and cared for by an Italian nurse whom he eventually marries. The nurse on whom the story is based died recently.

大概看了下，导演John Irvin，作品有1979年BBC版的Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy。貌似挺厉害的~~
电影计划在2014年上映..........
