Good afternoon everyone: My presentation topic is “Every young people can lend a hand to Olympic progammes .” The 2008 summer Olympics games which will be held in BeiJing , the capital city of the People Republic of China . Approximatly 10500 competitors will take part in the twenty-ninth Olympic games . At host , the Chinese young people can lend a hand to Olympi programmes . BeiJing officially launched it’s drive to recruit 100000 voluteers for the 2008 Olympics game , young people who have spetuculer passion vote to this activitses . Since BeiJing won the bid in 2001 to host the 2008 Olympics games , the official government has promised the world that the 2008 Olympics will be a High-Tech Olympics , a “People Olympics” and a “Green Olympics” .To my understanding , a “People’s Olympics” must be a humanistic , cultural event , when the whole eyes on the games , we Chinese young people should take the opportunity to show our international visitors the best sides of the Chinese young people and our traditional culture , we also need show the new faces which China has huge changes from the China revolution open policy. As a volunteers , who has some basicsrules need to be followed.1. Voluntary to serve the BeiJing Olympic and paralympic games 2. Abide by china’s laws and regulations 3. Able to serve for more than seven days running during the Olympic and paralympic games4. Able to participate in the pregames training and related activities 5. Native Chinese speakers should be able to communicate in foreign languages , and applicants who first languages is not Chinese should be able to engage in conversation in Chinese Because we have a lot of wonderful and exciting things waiting for foreign visitors in new BeiJing , we , who as a guide to lend them to knew our great anciety and modern city we have a dynamic modern metropolis with 3000yearsof culture treasure woven into the urban tapestry . Along with the iconic imagery of the forbidden city , the Temple of Heaven and the Great Wall . I’m afraid I can not present the whole picture of our culture programmes within such a short period of time . Respectly teachers and schoolmates , I believe if the whole young people vote into this exciting activities , this Games will be a milestone in Olympics history . If every young people lend a hand to our game , it should organize an excellent Games in 2008 . Let’s enjoy it , let’s join it ! we all love BeiJing . This is My presentation , thank you !
