HollywoodLife.com spoke with jewelry experts for the scoop on Miley’s sparkler. Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth‘s recent engagement is sparking all kinds of reactions from friends, family and fans. But one thing’s not up for debate: Liam’s got great taste in jewelry — and he’s not cheap, either!
Miley’s gorgeous engagement ring, which features a 3.5-carat diamond, is stunning! The cushion-cut stone is set in an “Art-Nouveau”-inspired gold band, designed by jeweler Neil Lane.

Mitchell Egenberg, diamond expert and jeweler to the stars, estimated the ring to be valued at approximately $100,000, depending on the color of the diamond.
But according to Mitchell, “This guy’s no slouch.” In his professional opinion, Liam went for a high-quality colored stone.
