“请多关照”是求人做事，著眼点在於人际关系
而 I am new here 则是以自我中心的立场告诉别人“我”怎麼样
两者在功能上都是初来乍到的客气话，但是怎麼说地道确实反映出价值体系的不同
英美人士的基本价值是“个人本位，自我中心”，跟中国日本强调人际关系的理念不同，所以这句话翻成地道的英文很难
