雯雯的大作Born in Hong Kong SAR, China, in August 18th, 1972, Leo Ku is a successful artist and is well-known in the Asian communities all over the world. Leo is best known for his superb falsetto technique in singing. But he didn't start out his career in the entertainment industry by being a singer. He has first enrolled in acting school at TVB back in the early 90's, and has hosted various shows for the TV station after graduating from his class. In 1994, his talent for singing has finally been discovered. By June of the same year, he released his very first Cantonese album, "Explanation of Love". Unfortunately, Lady Luck wasn't with him in the following year. After winning all the new singer awards from all the TV and radio stations, a disagreement regarding his contract with the TV station has put his blossoming career in entertainment on hold. But, one simply cannot stop a star from radiating light.

In 1997, Leo starred in the movie "Cause We Are So Young" and sang the theme song of the movie "Enjoy Yourself Tonight", which had won him all the song awards of the year as well as a number of male singer awards. In 1998, Leo first tried his hand in producing, and the resulting album, "Love and Dream Flying", was well received. Leo cruised along in his singer career until year 2000, when an opportunity arose for him to star in the series "Love So Deep Rain So Misty"(情剧有没有官方的英文译名？), written by the infamous writer Qiong Yu. And it was because of this series that Leo's acting career has risen to the top when said series were broadcasted throughout mainland China in 2001, Taiwan, and pretty much all over the world. In 2002, Leo filmed yet another series written by Qiong Yu, the "Pearl Princess III", which was subsequently broadcasted in 2003. In August of the same year, Leo, who was already quite well known for his talent in comic drawing, published his very first comic book, "The Story of Kubi". ---------------------QSS=romance in the rain

But while his acting career blossomed, Leo's singer career has begun to slide. Unwilling to give up his passion for music, Leo returned to Hong Kong to resume his role as a singer in summer of 2003. While earlier views from critics deemed Leo's return to the Hong Kong music industry a futile one, let's just say, nobody can ever forget a voice as rich and as beautiful as Leo's, and people do recognize good music when they haer it. Leo's concept album, "Games Leo Ku", was such a hit when it was released in November 2003, that numerous music stores actually went out of stock from the popular demand. In May 2004, Leo held a mini-concert sponsered by the CRHK radio station. And the tickets were in such high demand that they simply couldn't put enough seats in the concert hall to accomodate everyone. By summer of the same year, Leo published the second volume of this comic book "The Story of Kubi".

By early winter of 2004, Leo released his second concert album since his return to Hong Kong, "Nobita", which has won him numerous best album awards, while "Love and Sincerity", second song in the album to hit the charts, won him song award after song award. He has also won the best male singer gold award at the CRHK station for the very first time(and cried like a baby, too). By March 2005, Leo held his very first concert at the "Red Hall", and the 10,000 concert tickets were sold out within the hour. Unprepared for the popular demand, Leo had to extend his scheduled 3 concerts to 5, then to 7. Then, running out of booking at the concert hall, he held part II of the concert later in April. A couple months later, Leo began his concert world tour, which made stops at Australia, Malaysia, Toronto, Vancouver, Guangzhou, and Macow, while at the same time releasing his latest Cantonese album, "Star Track" and Mandarin album, "Final Fantasy". In November 2005, Leo won the Top 10 Most Outstanding Young Person Award in Hong Kong. In conclusion, Leo Ku is one of the most talented artists of the era. He has hosted TV and radio shows, excelled both as an actor and a singer, and he is also an accomplished composer, song writer and producer. In addition, he is also a talented comic artist with two published comic books, as well as a fashion designer for the internationally-known brand Beams-T. Moreover, Leo is a firm supporter of various charities. He uses the main character from his comic book, Kubi, who he considers his "son", to support worthy causes like the Red Cross, while he is a sponser of 13 children from all over the world through World Vision. ~end~
