Last interview you told about the lastalbum was quite special for you because you made into your 29 year, and accordingto your astrology, the first year you were a grown-up. You are 31 now? Whereare you now?
Jason:
I’m still just a… like there is this thingI heard in astrology, according to the stars when you turn 30, you officiallybecome an adult. It’s Sun Signs, it’s Star Signs, it’s planets in transits. Whenyou were born on this planet, wherever you are in the world, like say I wasborn in Virginia, 1977 June 23, and at that moment, the planets and stars werein a particular place in the sky, and all those things have an impact on yourmake-up, on who you are. And you can follow the course of those planets therest of your life, and where they all fall and interact with each other have ahuge impact on our brainwaves, how we communicate and how we live in this life.And by understanding this schedule and data, we can sort of coping with thislife in an easier way. It’s fascinating, it really is. You can be totally bebummed out for a week, and you check the star charts, and aw wow, you know,Mars is in the twelve House and according to that, you are going to be bummedout no matter how hard you try. You just go with it. And as soon as you realizethat, you are not really bummed out anymore. You know, this is something beyondmy control, you know.

我了解到冲浪对你很重要，对吧？可以给大家解释一下吗？
Jason：
我刚刚发现冲浪不过是3年半前，但是它完完全全改变了我的态度和生活。我过去整天抽烟，吃垃圾食品，而没有像现在这样好好照顾自己。我开始冲浪时爱上了那种与大自然，野性生活融入一体的感觉。回到陆地上我会想，如果我要接着进行冲浪运动的话，我要做出点改变了。我要戒烟，或者开始锻炼，尽管我在28岁之前基本上都没有锻炼过身体。所以一下子生活中多出了很多小的变化，食物，锻炼，谁又知道这些年来一直在宣传的（健康）生活方式是这么好的感觉呢。它也对我大脑的运作方式带来改变。我用不同的方式写歌，不同的方式与别人交往。我不清楚是不是因为冲浪需要的一定程度的对大海的耐心还有注意力还是其他什么，但是这种影响开始不断地向我生活的各个方面延伸。于是我完全对冲浪上瘾了。一旦你有了个冲浪板，冲浪就是免费的了！多亏大自然的造化，海浪日日夜夜的冲上沙滩，让你想冲多久就多久。它不像是滑雪，你要交缆车费，还要一路开车到山顶。冲浪呢，它就在眼前。所以为神马有人还会想要做其他事情呢？我于是想，如果神希望我们做什么的话，那一定就是冲浪了。冲浪的方方面面都太给力了。所以我想如果我的音乐事业哪一天到头了，我会搬到海滩上住，赚够薪水，够我每天尽情冲浪就好了。太给力了。特给人充实的感觉。
