Synopsis
Benny演的James是一个30多岁,中产的癌症患者,请求他的三个好朋友带他去威尔士Barafundle海湾做最后的旅行。中途他们遇见了在海边沉船找Star Wars小雕像的obsessive scavenger，民间化妆舞会,还有很多其他的奇遇和困境。在旅途中他们面对了各自的困难，发展了友谊，并认真思考了回家后各自要面对的事情。
About Performance
Benny"does incredibly well with a difficult role. Ironically enough, I think he's the one character who's supposed to test our sympathy, being spiky, difficult and provocative, berating his mates for their lack of ambition and their willingness to settle for second best. But James finally emerges as this so-far-meandering film's guiding light, revealing his real reasons for the trip and putting the trio's friendship to the test."
Benedict的角色原本应是个易怒的，总惹麻烦的，搏取同情的角色，但James最后成了整部剧的指明灯，展示了自己旅行的真正原因并考验了三个人的友谊。Benedict将这个困难的角色演得很好。

这部电影以马的经历讲述了一战时英国乡村和欧洲的情况。开始时小男孩Albert和他的马Joey是很好的朋友，后来因为战争被迫分开。电影随后以马的旅程穿越了战争，这匹马改变和激励了他遇见的所有人--英国骑兵，德国士兵，一个法国农民和他的孙女，最后在无人区中心到达了emotional climax。Joey穿越一战的历程是一部充满了喜悦和悲伤，热情的友谊和高度冒险的奥德赛式旅程。

Joey在一战时被抓到了骑兵队并运到了法国。他的骑手Capitan Nichollos在骑着Joey时死了。随后Joey被敌方抓走，经历了死亡，疾病和各种不幸，为双方服务，最后在无人区发现只剩自己独自一人。Albert忘不了Joey，又不够年龄加入军队，于是他开始了一场寻找Joey并把它带回Devon的危险旅程。

Benny饰演的Major Stewart从照片上看像是英国骑兵，details还没有查到。
The Trivial
1，影片的剪辑是在英国的Twickenham Film Studios做的，后制在美国。
2，影片剪辑Michael Kahn说 "Those English actors are awfully good and so were the horses....that I got everything I needed"。
3，电影由John Williams谱曲，将于三月底四月初开始录制。
