2017.8.17 南部狮群，三屁股，小牛三者相聚不到一公里 It has been lion crazy Sabi Sabi!! A large herd of Cape Buffalo drew the attention of not only the three Tsalala males but the entire Southern Pride as well as the two Avoca males to the area! At one stage, all three different groupings of different prides and coalitions were roughly within 1km of one another. Two of the Tsalala males looked a bit beaten up. All the lions kept a comfortable distance from the buffalo and may attempt to hunt later on when it’s a bit cooler as we are currently experiencing some extreme heat.

2017.8.7 南部狮群亚成年兄妹 The two sub-adult brother and sister combo of the Southern Pride were seen stalking an old giraffe bull late on Friday afternoon. It was amazing to see how the confidence, of especially the young lioness, turned into confusion as she ran after this experienced giraffe bull who just walked away from her. The giraffe seemed so sure of himself that at a stage he even returned to feeding after having noticed the two lions within ten meters of him. The aftermath of this encounter was two young lions having learnt that their eyes might have been too big for their stomachs, their courage was amazing though... 来自南部狮群两只亚成年兄妹的组合，在星期五傍晚围捕一只老长颈鹿。很高兴可以看到这种自行心，尤其是这只亚成年雌性，当她追赶这只从她身边经过的经验丰富的长颈鹿时陷入一片混乱。这头长颈鹿看起来非常自信，他注意到折两只狮子在距离他10米内后，甚至还回头进食。这次相遇的后果是两个年轻的狮子明白了对于他们现在来说犹如蚍蜉撼树，但他们的勇气是惊人的！
