一公司组织焊工培训考试备战兰成中贵管道项目本报讯 2010年12月25至26日，管道一公司举办了兰成中贵管道项目焊工培训考试，一公司兰成中贵管道项目由前期筹备阶段转入主体开工准备阶段。管道一公司承担了中贵管线94.9公里、兰成58.2公里施工任务，双线并行敷设。其中，中贵气管线直径为1219毫米，兰成成品油管线直径为610毫米。接到施工任务后，管道一公司快速反应，积极组织设备调遣和人员调配，并组织焊工进行上岗焊接培训。公司对来自第二作业处和第三作业处的70名焊工进行了为期一个半月的焊接理论培训、实际操作训练。管道一公司兰成中贵管道项目部对此次焊工考试工作高度重视，积极组织、认真筹备练兵工作，力争通过这次考试挑选技术过硬的焊工，为严把工程焊接质量提供人员保证。日前，由兰成中贵EPC项目部组织，管道一公司兰成中贵项目部、一公司教育培训站、中国石油管道焊接培训中心、北京兴油监理公司4家单位共同开展了首批培训焊工上岗考试。本次考试的内容包括纤维素焊条下向焊、低氢焊条上向焊、药芯焊丝半自动焊3种，考试试件必须经过表面外观检测、X射线无损探伤检测。考试全部合格后获得上岗证，有资格参加兰成中贵管道工程的焊接作业。图为焊工考试现场。（周立欣摄影报道）

管道局中标兰成线中贵线第三标段EPC总承包从管道局国内事业部获悉，集团公司管道建设项目经理部对即将开工的兰州—成都原油管道工程、中卫—贵阳联络线工程的EPC总承包进行招标，管道局国内事业部一举中标第三标段（甘肃、陕西段）。兰州—成都原油管道工程起自甘肃兰州，止于四川彭州末站，途经甘肃、陕西、四川，全长878公里。该管线建成后，将与西部管道对接，将来自新疆的原油输入四川。中卫—贵阳联络线工程起自宁夏中卫，止于贵州贵阳，途经甘肃、陕西、四川、重庆，全长1613公里。该管线建成后，将在中卫与西气东输一线、二线对接，在贵阳与中缅管道对接，实现国家能源大动脉的连接。兰成线和中贵线共同经过甘肃省、陕西省和四川省，有229公里管线伴行或并行，共用山岭隧道40处，单建山岭隧道5处。集团公司管道建设项目经理部推行全新的建设管理模式，将这两条管线分成6个标段进行招标，每个中标单位针对本标段实行EPC总承包。第三标段位于甘肃省和陕西省。兰成线长262.4公里，线路阀室14座；中贵线长225.6公里，线路阀室10座。两条管线同沟敷设共计53.7公里，并行敷设71.1公里。全线主要为山区段施工，伴行路施工预计101公里，全线需建设隧道30条。

转战三交镇转战三交镇魏岩磊/文工程将近尾声，李忠伟机组承担静乐段焊接任务即将完成，但一公司其他机组还有不少难啃的“骨头”，看此情形，按期完工并非易事，李忠伟说：“工程不完，我们绝不撤线，为了陕三按期竣工，我们要战道最后。” 经项目部批准，李处长接到去援助三交镇六机组的连头焊接任务。当天晚上李处给机组所有员工开了动员大会，并宣读了局下发的文件，传达“奋战一百天，夺取主动权”的文件精神，至此拉开了百日攻坚的序幕。时间赶得真巧，正当大家信心十足，准备大干百天的时候，省道忻黑公路路面改造工程也紧锣密鼓的展开了（忻州城区至静乐县）。三交段的输气管线恰好是沿着这条公路的施工段上，这给我们的交通运输带来极大的不便。关卡重重，成了陕三的拦路虎。可是，我们并没有因此而却步，抓紧时间办理通行证，保证了施工物资的及时供给。地下水丰富是三交的最大特色，地下水位很高，一开挖就出水，因此管道敷设基本采用沉管，七月的山西，雨水频繁，但是大家心里都深刻的意识到工期紧张，不能放松，我们就在暴雨的间隙中施工，雨停我干，雨下我们就在工地等。

济道岭狙击战济道岭狙击战 ---管道一公司机组陕京三线纪实作者：魏岩磊提及济道岭，陕京三线输气管道工程参建员工无人不晓。济道岭以连绵不断的险峻山峰、八百米长的滑梯巨坡和急转弯著称，并不时伴有险石滚落，是陕京三线工程的最高点和最难点。如果此处不攻破，陕京三线永远不能画上圆满句号。在众多施工队伍望而却步时，陕京三线2A标段管道一公司李忠伟机组挺身而出，勇担重任，在完成新开岭的焊接任务后，调动精锐设备和人员进驻令人生畏的“济道岭”，开始了攻克难关的征程。与天斗天公不作美，入春以来丝毫未见暖意，寒风呼啸，冰雪依旧。这并没有难倒一线施工人员。机组人员到达驻地后，立即开始了征程的第一步：建造营房。他们支起帐篷，生起炉子，算是有了一个生活的场所。第二步：争取时间。气温低，设备启动困难，为了提高效率，机手在晚上每隔几小时就启动一下设备，以保证第二天早上设备能快速启动，保证了工作时间。第三步：保证安全。济道岭四月飞雪，异常的天气情况给施工增添了难度和危险。路面湿滑，设备在缓坡地段出现了滑坡现象。虽然工期紧迫，但“安全是我的责任”一直在每位员工心中，他们采取有效措施，用挖掘机将冰冻层除去，确保路面安全，继续施工。与地斗济道岭最高点海拔1800米，坡度30度，全长9.3公里，并且只有一条机组开辟的施工道路。因道路难行，一般车辆上不去，设备加油难，运管更难。施工人员充分发挥聪明才智，借来军用卡车给机器加油，同时向公司申请增加两台CAT吊管机和一台推土机，以解决拉运油料及管材的问题，保证了每日的施工需要，并且保证了施工安全。攻克“三难” 为了征服这座山，为了获取施工胜利，一线施工人员扛起重任，接受挑战。一难：车辆上行困难。施工人员每天需要花费一个半小时的时间走上山,对体力是一个极大的考验。二难：工期从冬季到夏季，时间长。冬季寒冷时期，焊工需要穿着厚厚的棉袄外加军大衣才能施焊。夏季，山坡披上了绿衣，小精灵们复苏，飞虫萦绕在施工人员周围，日头越来越毒，施工人员汗流不止，但坚持施工。三难：午餐不能送到山顶，施工人员就在帐篷里做饭，吃自己煮的面条，没有一个人有怨言。无论什么都不能阻止施工人员前进的脚步，他们知道身上肩负的重担，钢铁巨龙不断地向前延伸。还有800米，机组的小伙子们就要把它牵过济道岭了。机组员工们将战胜这一切，征服济道岭，为陕京三线交上一份合格答卷。

Rig select Normal Misunderstandings and Corrections for choosing and using HDD rigs We started our business in 1970 from huge river crossing with HDD techniques, and then the knowledge and experience from which were transferred to medium and small-sized HDD equipments. With such a background, we’d like to offer some corrections and our opinions on a few misunderstandings in this field.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Misunderstanding No.1:The performance of rigs depends on the pull back force. Fact: pull back force mainly functions as resistance to the gravity of the product line, while the performance of the rigs is normally presented by the torque and flushing rate of the fluid. A good curvature of the borehole and high quality of the mud can triple the rated pull back power of the rigs. Misunderstanding No.2:Chain drive design is the best for drilling and pull back. Fact: Chain drive is the simplest choice for the vendor, but not the most reliable, and it possibly costs more on maintenance since it takes more land and is easy to break; while the wing drive is comparatively safer and more reliable, easy to maintain and capable to run for a longer time. Misunderstanding No.3Mud can be ready by mixing alone. Fact: It’s far from enough just to mix the mud by blade. Actually, mud needs to be cut fully. With thruster and the spraying system, AA guarantee to grind the mud fully to prevent it from blocking the mud system. Misunderstanding No.4The most important feature for rigs is flexible enough to handle. Fact: the function of rigs Including: 1.to pass the rotating torque to the bit; 2. to keep enough angular rigidity for continuous drilling; 3. to bear the torque load and vibration with right linear design; 4.the inter diameter of which is big enough to allow the mud going through smoothly. Last but not least, it can not break during the drilling process which would cause time and money loss to the contractor.Misunderstanding No.5All the mud pump system can drive the mud motor effectively. Fact: as in other trenchless field, torque is demanded for cutting hard terrane. Small-sized rig and mud system are not powerful enough to drive the motor cutting stones.Misunderstanding No.6Experience is the crucial point for success of HDD construction. Fact: It’s an excuse for the vendor to which to blame the failure. Actually, some of the equipments fail to perform well to keep balance on such factors of torque and mud flow, etc. during the progress of drilling and pull back.Misunderstanding No.7Rated power of the equipments is simply a theoretical value. Fact: Many vendors label their equipments the values of drilling/pull back power, max.torque, and mud flow simply by calculation, but it becomes a failure when the machines keep running. We can not work by the book, so a series of factors must be taken into consideration under the continuous working state when we want to decide the true value of horse power. There is a formula from the HDD field in America, namely, torque + mud flow +drilling/ pull back force + rod+ wing of the rod = high success rate + short construction period + profits.

HDD profile Brief Introduction of HDD Construction Techniques With the increasingly strong senses of modern civilization and environmental protection, the problems in society, traffic, and pollution caused by trench excavation for underground constructions are drawing more and more attention from the citizens, for which rules and regulations for trench restraint are being carried out. That’s where we’re standing now- a brief introduction of trenchless HDD construction techniques. It’s the best option to apply HDD techniques for municipal administration construction, electrification distribution pipes rebuilding, communication OFC installation, and for rivers, lakes as well as irremovable buildings crossing, for it can leave the physiognomy untouched and protect the environment. In recent years, the HDD techniques are widely applied in countries around the world and various fields, especially in city distribution pipes reconstruction projects and huge river crossing. The working procedure of HDD construction is as below.1. HDD Crossing Construction Procedure: Normally it can be divided into two stages to carry out the pipeline crossing with HDD techniques: First, a pilot hole is drilled along a pre-designed curve as exactly as possible; then, this borehole is reamed, in which the product line (PE pipeline, OFC, steel pipes) is pulled back to come to completion of the crossing. 1.1 Pilot Hole Drilling According to the geological formation, proper bit, steering plate, and underground fluid motor are selected firstly. Then, the bit is cutting inside the ground impelled by the rig. And the position of the bit is regularly measured every rig further drilled in the ground to adjust the drilling direction timely and guarantee the curve following the design. (See Fig. I) 1.2 Pre-reaming and Pulling-back Normally, pre-reaming is needed when diameter of the product pipeline is over 200mm for small sized rig and over 350mm with huge sized one. The size and times of pre-reaming depend on model of rigs and geological formation of the crossing section. (See Fig. II) Before pulling back, the reaming tools are assembled to the product pipe strings. The rod is swirling back pulled by the reel of the rig, while the product pipe string is not swirling with it but floating in the reamed borehole in the mud, which functions as a lubricant between the pipes and the wall of the borehole to lessen the force of resistance and protect coatings of the rigs. In addition, the diameter of the borehole is generally 200mm larger than that of the pipes after being reamed for a certain times. (See Fig. III)2. Features of HDD Construction 2.1 It doesn’t block the traffic, either ruin the grassland or disturb the normal business of the shops, hospitals, schools or interrupt people’s life in communities. 2.2 The modern equipments for crossing are accurate enough to afford easy control over the direction and depth of installation. And the pipelines can be installed over a long distance in a curve to meet the requirements of design and go around the underground obstacles. 2.3 The city distribution pipes are normally buried more than 3 meters under the ground, while as usual, pipes would be 9 to 18 meters below the river bed in river crossing. Obviously, it can manage not touch the physiognomy and protect the environment to apply HDD crossing techniques in the city. 2.4 Without construction over or in the water, it won’t disturb the transportation on seas or rivers to apply HDD method, neither damage the structure of the dam or river bed. Additionally, it’s not affected by season changes with the characteristics of shorter construction period, less staff, higher rate of success and safer operation compared with other crossing method. 2.5 It’s quick to access or withdraw from the worksite with flexible locations and area, which is really advantageous in city projects. And it demands less ROW, costs lower, and progresses faster in comparison with other construction methods. 2.6 Since the pipe string needs to be installed 9 to 18 meters under the stratum in huge river crossing, where there is much less oxygen and other corrosive substances, it’s naturally anti-corrosive and heat preserving, which guarantee a longer time for pipe strings to function.

Generally, the diameter of the pilot hole drilled during the first step is shorter than that of the pipe string, which demands to ream the pilot hole from the exit point to the entry point until the diameter is 1.3-1.5 times as large as that of the pipe string. Then, the rig, reamer, swivel and the pipe string would be assembled in order and pulled back from the exit point to the entrance point while reaming. Entrance point side is the main field for HDD construction, which requires a comparatively larger area, i.e., Rig DD1330 would occupy an area of 30*30 meters. But sometimes it depends- in contrast with DD60 and DD-5, the latter need much smaller field.2.
