Autocar cited “a well-informed source close to the factory” as providing the info, and Auto Express specifically said that famed Porsche test driver Walter Röhrl confirmed a six-speed gearbox in the updated 911 GT3. When combined with spy photos showing the company hiding the gearshift (below), it’s easy to believe these allegations are accurate. Porsche’s dual-clutch transmission would still be an option, too.For a boost in output, Porsche would allegedly give the GT3 a retuned version of the 4.0-liter flat six from the GT3 RS and 911 R. The output might even top the 500 horsepower (373 kilowatts) from the mill’s current applications. The GT3’s present 3.8-liter powerplant is good for 475 hp (349 kW). Aesthetically, spy photos indicate this is a subtle refresh (below), including small tweaks to the front fascia and rear bumper. That's not a weakness because the current GT3 already looks great.Autocar also cites insiders indicating that the 911 GT2 could be ready by the end of the year. It uses the 3.8-liter biturbo flat six out of the existing Turbo but extensive tuning allegedly takes the output to 650 hp (485 kW) from the stock 580 hp (433 kW). The muscle might be tough to handle since a seven-speed dual-clutch (reportedly there isn’t a manual) sends power exclusively to the rear wheels. Porsche’s engineers originally hoped for the powerplant to make 700 hp (522 kW) but couldn’t make it happen without resorting to water injection, according to Autocar. Spy photos already show the GT2 (below) during testing at the Nürburgring, and it looks wild. The body kit includes massive intakes up front and along the sides. A gargantuan wing sits on the tail.Fans of the 718 Cayman can be excited too because Porsche is allegedly working on a GT4 RS, according to anonymous sources speaking to both U.K.-based sites. The hardcore coupe would reportedly have a de-tuned version of the 4.0-liter engine in the 911 GT3. The company wouldn’t want to make GT3 buyers too envious, so expect the range-topping Cayman to be just a bit slower than the performance-tuned 911. The German automaker previously said that the GT4 RS wouldn’t happen, but the demand was apparently high enough to change the company’s mind.

That’s changing now, though, with the new 911 RSR. As spy photos had indicated, big changes are in store for the racer. The car has a mid-engine layout and will campaign in 19 races in the LM-GTE category in 2017, including the 24 Hours of Le Mans. By putting the 4.0-liter flat-six engine ahead of the rear axle, Porsche says that engineers were able to install a larger rear aerodynamic diffuser. The new arrangement could conceivably also provide more balanced handling than hanging the engine out over the rear of the car. But because this is such a big change, pretty much every part of the RSR was developed from scratch, including the suspension, powertrain, and body. The car weighs 2,740 pounds (1,243 kilograms). That engine is a naturally aspirated unit that, depending on what restrictor is required by series rules, will produce around 510 horsepower (375 kilowatts). Boxster和Cayman将更名为718 Porsche has announced the facelifted Boxster and Cayman will be renamed the 718 Boxster and 718 Cayman. While the name sounds superfluous, Porsche says the 718 designation is meant to recall the ground-breaking Porsche 718 from 1957. The name also recalls the company's history of offering a flat four-cylinder engine. As Porsche points out, the 718 RSK scored a class victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1958 thanks to a powerful and fuel-efficient four-cylinder engine which produced 142 hp (105 kW). The company's 919 Hybrid LMP1 also uses a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and it recently won the manufacturer’s and driver’s championship titles in the World Endurance Championship. Besides announcing the name change, Porsche confirmed the 718 Boxster and 718 Cayman will show more similarities both in terms of design and performance. The company declined to elaborate but previous reports have suggested the cars will be offered with turbocharged 1.6- and 2.0-liter four-cylinder engines that produce up to 286 hp (213 kW). Both models will be introduced next year and Porsche confirmed the 718 Boxster will be cost more than the 718 Cayman.

Porsche plans to spend approximately €700 million as part of an investment that will include a new assembly plant and a new paint shop. Moreover, the current engine factory will be expanded since it has to be adapted for production of electric motors. It’s the same story with the existing body shop as this one will get bigger as well. Additional investments will be done in other areas, including at the firm’s Weissach development center where the researchers are cooking up Porsche’s EV.

来自官方的信仰：Porsche 911 SC-L 3.1 这辆型号奇怪的'78 911 SC属于34岁的奥地利人Martin Gstrein。L代表功率提升。原车的里程有18W公里，但车况非常好，原始文件也被保存得十分完整。从中我们获悉原车主为来自慕尼黑Gräfelfing的一个药店老板。他在1987年12月20日在位于Dachau的保时捷零售商Sepp Greger那儿以49513.12马克订了这辆GP白的911 SC Coupé， 3.0L，180 PS。当时911 SC起价38348.21马克。多出的那些钱当然是用于各种选装件了：限滑差速器、合金轮圈、运动座椅和有皮革包裹的方向盘，还有运费(车是自提的)和12%的增值税，次年6月中旬交车。车主于1979年5月28日付完余款。在保时捷交货前，零售商就已经帮车主在原厂搞定了马力提升服务：从180 PS提升到210 PS，收费6900马克。早在1981年保时捷就开始官方提供这种服务了。“基本上所有额外的需求保时捷都会满足你。”现保时捷博物档案馆馆长Dieter Landenberger说， “从356 1300开始我们就可以帮你换上Fuhrmann的凸轮轴，提升的5马力可为你在赛场上带来优势。”在将原车的930/03扩缸到97mm、活塞更换为Mahle活塞、冲程维持70.4mm的情况下排量上升到3122 cm³，压缩比略微提升。其他的改动包括更换喷油系统和更大的冷却器。最终结果为210PS@5800rpm，相比早期的G-Model Carrera有了显著的提高。当然，小小的代价是有的：说明书上建议你无论如何请加98号油。到底有多少911 SC被提升到210PS了呢？“撒，谁知道呢～”Landenberger说，“那时的文件都被销毁了。”其中包括自1984年起的3.2L的G-Model。后来车主又拜托灯具专家Walter Maurer找到零售商为他装上Cibié大灯和其他附属设备。现在面对如此稀有的车你该怎么办？“善待她。”Martin Gstrein说，“到现在我就开了2500km。我最享受的就是在车库里瞄她一眼。”
