Bon Jovi关于have a nice day的访谈(闲来无事翻译的,见笑了) Jon Bon Jovi is laughing, really laughing. The lead singer has just found out that the Bon Jovi fan Web site has put up www.smirkwatch.com, a place for fans to show off their sometimes off-the-wall uses of the not-so-happy smiley face that adorns the band's new album, ''Have a Nice Day.'' And Bon Jovi can't get over the fact that somebody has tattooed their arm with the album cover. He talked about his latest CD:Q. Are you surprised fans would go to this length?A. I knew that when we created the logo, this is what it could be. This is bigger than the album cover. I think it says a lot. It's not the Kool-Aid man and it ain't a smiley face. He's got a definite 2005 attitude. He's a little more knowledgeable than the yellow smiley face of the '70s that was about peace, love and let's have fun.Q. So, is "Have a Nice Day" a kiss-off song?A. It's a social commentary, that's for sure. If you take "Have a Nice Day" for its literal translation, you would think it was a cheery, wonderful, insert-happy-music-here song. I think it's a little wry, a little more ironic.Q. How so?A. The song was inspired by the polarization that I witnessed in our country last fall with what was happening with the election and the war. I couldn't believe I was witnessing what was happening in this country. There was a serious dividing line that was breaking up friendships, and having brothers fighting with brothers and spouses fighting with spouses. But in what I was witnessing, I realized you couldn't be a sore loser and you couldn't be a sore winner. From Nov. 3 on, we need to come together as a country. Forget about being red and blue. It was about being purple. Everybody has to make a series of compromises in order to move on. Ultimately, I was trying to write a record of inclusion. My "Have a Nice Day" was to say don't judge me. ... It just says I'm simply going to live my life.Q. There were a lot of reports earlier this year that the label was unhappy with the record and sent you back into the studio. Want to straighten that out?A. There was one rumor that the record company told me what to do. The guy reported it in the paper and other people picked up on it. The honest to God truth is that I thought the record was done. I went to the record company to meet the latest, greatest regime and played them the box set in October of last year. I knew exactly what I was doing. I was going in to meet them and say, "Here's 38 unreleased tracks for your box, and by the way," when they were jumping up and down, "Here's my new record. Surprise."Q. So, what happened?A. It was Christmastime and I went in the studio to listen to the album. As I was listening to it, I thought I cheated a bit. I hurried to finish the record so I could make that presentation [to the label] as a one-two punch. So then I, not they, said it's not complete, it doesn't tell the whole story. It didn't tell what was going on in my life. So I sat down and wrote a few songs and took off a few songs. And that was it. Not that I wouldn't be open to a suggestion from a record company, if they ever did say anything to me.
BON JOVI专集的最新消息——九月才出来!郁闷!! Upcoming album is heavy on the guitars When Bon Jovi played the tenth anniversary party for Las Vegas' Hard Rock Hotel and Casino on Saturday night, they looked backed fondly, treating the star-studded audience -- featuring fellow rockers Mike Shinoda and Joe Hahn of Linkin Park, Mike Einzinger of Incubus and Jerry Cantrell of Alice in Chains -- to a greatest-hits set in a specially constructed venue in the venue's parking lot. But now the New Jersey rockers are getting ready to move forward, as they plan to release their new album in September. Collaborating with songwriter/producer John Shanks (Sheryl Crow, Alanis Morissette), Bon Jovi have finished thirteen tracks, and may add a few more. "It's a heavy record," guitarist Richie Sambora says. "There are lots of guitars -- I'll tell you that, man." The lead single is called "Have a Nice Day," but Sambora warns not to be fooled by its friendly title, describing it as "very Clint Eastwood." The guitarist cites "Welcome to Wherever You Are" as another favorite. Bon Jovi plan to get back on the road in October to support the fall release, after they take the summer off. "We're gonna just hang with our families," Sambora says. The guitarist will also use the downtime to get cracking on his next solo album, with help from some country folk. "I'm slated to write with Joe Don [Rooney] from Rascal Flatts, and I'm supposed to get together with Jo Dee Messina," he says. "I've also been talking to Kenny Chesney. I'm trying to branch out. That's what keeps you evolving . . . and I think that's part of the secret to our success."

Jon手机号被知道后的遭遇!! As you might've heard; the phone from Paris Hilton was hacked and all mobile numbers could be found at www.jackal.nl. This site is down for now, since it's been on the news everywhere. Now the nice thing is that I've spoken to mr. Jon Bon Jovi. Thierry was here today and we were browsing the net for news since we're both 2 very intellectual people and. Since I am so good for you all I will post the interesting conversation with mr Jon Rude Jovi. Jon: Jon Sebastiaan: Hi Jon, you're speaking with Sebastiaan, a fan from Holland Jon: That's nice, but how did you get my number? Sebastiaan: I found it online Jon: How come? Sebastiaan: Because Paris Hilton's phone has been hacked Jon: What!? Sebastiaan: Yeah, I was actually a bit surprised that you're in her phone Jon: So am I. And then Thierry shouted "Play Dry County on the next tour!!! Sebastiaan: I am sorry, that was my friend Thierry who's got a few complaints about the setlists you've been composing for the last few tours. Jon: Wait wait wait you know, I appreciate you being a fan of my band but er, you know, I can't really talk right now. Sebastiaan: Why not? Jon: Well, you see... Sebastiaan: Is it because you're not supposed to talk to fans who suddenly call you at this moment? Jon: Yeah well... Sebastiaan: ...because I can understand that, but believe me this won't be the last phonecall... Jon: What?! But...why!? Sebastiaan: Because you're number can be found everywhere online right now. Jon: Oh **** please no. Sebastiaan: Since you'll be hanging up on me anytime soon I'd just like to say that I still enjoy some of the music you play, but please no more ballads, and more guitar solo's on the next record Jon: Are you actually complaining right now? Sebastiaan: No, I'm giving you some critical point of views that you should pay attention to. Jon: Ah. Well what's that with Dry County? Sebastiaan: Some fans would donate a testicle to hear that song live. Jon: Really? But it's too long... Sebastiaan: So what, I'm 1,98m but I'm not too long. Jon: Urrr, right. I've got to go now. Sebastiaan: Alright, so we've got a deal? Dry County on the upcoming tour? Jon: Yeah whatever. And then he ended the conversation. And the phone was busy for the next 15 minutes. But then Thierry called: Jon: Jon Thierry: Play Dry County! Jon: What?! Not again... And he hung up again. He's so rude! Anyway, this was my nice way of spending the afternoon. So he's not cute, but he's rude. It has cost me 40Euro's but it was worth it and very funny. Salaam Aleikum, Sebastiaan
对bon jovi关于bounce的采访 What was the vibe like in the studio this time around? It was very relaxed as we were well prepared to do the record. The scheduling worked around the baby and Ally McBeal and the writing came together on both coasts with ease. How do you feel when you look back on the band's history?I'm pretty amazed at the success to be honest with you. As we approach the 20th year and 100 million marks, I can't help but be thankful and excited by the past accomplishments as well as our future with Bounce...What are your favorite tracks on the new album?I'm still too close to the record as a whole, but the early favorites are Everyday, Undivided and Joey...What does BOUNCE represent? It's a title that leaves itself open to interpretation. The idea behind it was the listener owns the record not just because they purchase it but because they make it their own like the way I felt when I was a kid and lived for the albums of my favorite bands. In the most simplistic form Bounce could mean the action of a ball or a kid jumping up and down or it can address the resiliency of the band or even our country in the face of adversity. What experiences did you draw from when writing songs for this album? The record is a diary of my life over the last year. Sure, some of the stories are fictional, but as a part of the whole these subjects were something I wanted to talk about. The obvious 9/11 songs (Everyday, Undivided and Bounce) are something we all lived through, on Hook Me Up, it's the history we're living through with the Israeli and Palestinian conflict and on Misunderstood it's just me in trouble again etc...This is your 8th studio album. With recording 7 under your belt, what have you brought with you to this recording? What makes it different from the past albums? Mentally, physically and technically? We're a better band with each record. The playing has become streamlined. What I mean is both Richie and I had a sense of what was right, wrong and indifferent to the making of the record. We don't waste a lot of time on bad ideas. Physically we tried to approach it with a more lax approach but found that we had to be involved in every aspect from pre-production to mastering.Describe the process of selecting the songs that appeared on this album? You can't be repetitive. So if the subject matter has been covered before it's difficult to repeat yourself. You also want to say something that you won't mind singing in 20 years from now. The rest really was decided easily as the best songs do rise to the top...Did you use different methods of recording the songs this time around, different technology or new types of instruments? We used more strings. This record has orchestrations on several rock songs not just the ballads. The rest of it is fairly basic, as we want to keep it as real as we can for the sake of live performances. What is the secret of your success as a band?If I knew that I'd bottle it and sell it...Describe the music that Bon Jovi creates?3 minutes of optimism. What is it about the road that keeps pulling you back out?I don't have an answer for that. What goes on in your mind while you are on stage? If it's a perfect night I'll think about anything but the show. It's an out of body experience that will have me planning the party at the bar or the restaurant we'll go to. If I'm thinking about the show something's going wrong. What is your songwriting style? Explain the process of writing a song, is it something that comes naturally or do you need to sit down and take time make it happen?Sometimes it's divine intervention sometimes it's hard work. Sometimes it's... just F.I.N.E.What influenced that harder edged sounded on Bounce? The songs are the songs. Surprisingly the heavy riffs on Undivided and Everyday I came up with. Richie expounded upon them but the sounds were his arsenal of guitars. How is this different from all of your other records? This is no different than any other record I've been a part of. Each one at that time is your favorite and every one was the best you had to give and all you had to say at that time... it's a great job.
