【冬日暖阳】Please give our best to Xiaodong It’s been a long while since I wrote the message in the post bar last December. Time is going fast. I have not forgotten Xiaodong and all the friends in this post bar. Quite an opposite, I miss you all. I feel our connection is always there no matter where I am and what I do. Over last couple of weeks I watched the Xiaodong’s new DVD titled “亲爱的敌人” and was very much impressed by Xiaodong’s incredible performance. Personally, I think this is Xiaodong’s another breakthrough performance for his career. I was completely moved and touched by his character as a single Dad in this family drama. For acting, I always think crying and teary scenes are much harder for man than for woman to handle as it is commonly presumed that crying and tear are not belong to man. However, Xiaodong did an amazingly good job in this drama to present us a dad with such complicated feeling toward his daughter when he learned he got a late stage brain cancer. How can we forget his teary eyes while he is trying to control his emotion? We can feel his pain and sadness because we are all heart ached. I have to admit Xiaodng (his character) stealing lots of my tears as well. His daughter’s character is also very well played by this quite talented high school girl. Because of this great story and actors’ excellent performance, it is one of the few good Chinese TV drama that worth your time to watch and think. As Xiaodong’s loyal support, I am so proud of his every leaping step in his career. He is truly one of the best Chinese actors. We also adore him dearly because his down to earth and good heart. I learn that some of you will visit Xiaodong in the studio where his shooting a new movie. While you are there, please give the best to Xaidong for those of us who can’t be there. Please also share our thoughts and feeling with Xaidong and let him know that he is the person that we will always cherish and care.

【冬日暖阳】In the event of natural disaster, people do united All the peoples in this world are still in a state of utter disbelief and shock for this natural disaster. We are especially saddened by the tragedies happened with all the children. As a parent myself, I can never imagine what will feel like to lose your only child merely in a few minutes. It’s also heartbroken to see these kids lost their parents and their lives will never be the same. We can only comfort ourselves that these victims are in heaven with peace and God will watch and take care of them. Watching so many people died suddenly in this tragedy, I felt nothing matters in the world other than health, love and friendship. Life is short and we should all be happy and live fullest every day. Xiaodong has set a good example for us to always keep a good and positive attitude in your life. It’s very encouraging to see this natural disaster do bring and united people together. Let’s all work together to make this world a better place to live.
【冬日暖阳】In memory of our beloved ones who passed away On this Chinese Memorial Day, everyone, no matter who you are, what you are and where you are, should take a moment in memory of your beloved one who passed away. As for me, these last two months has been the lowest and worst moments in my life. Two months ago, my mom was diagnosed for late stage cancer and on March 20, she lost fight with the cancer and passed away peacefully. I was devastated and heartbroken. Sadly, I have to accept the fact that my beloved mom has left us forever. My only comfort is that she is not suffering anymore and in heaven with no pain. There is also no regret that I had a chance to go back to China to see and talk to her last time before she lost conscience. I hope I may find comfort in the love my mom shared with me, solace in the wisdom she gave to me and peace in the faith that I will meet her again someday. I will always remember her strength, her spirit, her ever positive attitude and her love for all of us. In this Chinese Memorial Day, while we are in memory of our beloved ones who passed away, we should not take anything for granted. Share and show your love with your family and friends. Talk to them. Spend some quality time with your beloved one. Life is short and you never know what will happen tomorrow. As for those beloved ones who passed away, I always believe they are in heaven overlooking and blessing us, and I know they are always with us in our hearts. Indyfan

【冬日暖阳】Some thoughts about Xiaodong's remarks in 7.21 gat Thanks to 喵 and whoever involved in making this video clip to give those people, who were not able to be at the 7.21 gathering, a chance to experience the excitement and listen to Xiaodong’s speech.. I am particularly impressed by his remarks about his personal characters. Although we all know Xiaodong is such a person with finest quality that is filled well with self-cultivation and sophistication, he only thinks himself a person with good upbringing that is attributed to his family. His appeal to this big family for more good-will act for the society also reflects Xiaodong’s principle and belief as human beings. One of Xiaodong’s greatest characters that distinguished him from other celebrity is that he never forgets his family roots and always has positive attitude and be grateful. That is the reason why so many people see Xaiodong as a role model. That is also the base why Xiaodong is so well self-sufficient and never lost himself in this “not so well-controlled” entertainment business. Of course, Xiaodong’s hard working and brilliant acting talent is also a warrant for his future success as one of the greatest Chinese actor in our age.
