5 When a Woman Loves a Man 这首歌让爱得到深情的表述 6 On My Shoulder 布莱恩一直想用这首歌代替Mandy成为单曲,并最终因此离队 7 Turn Around 真情回首,真爱就在这里 8 I Did It for You 一首西城男孩经典风格的略带忧伤的情歌 9 Thank You 旋律欢快,节奏奔放的歌曲 10 To Be With You 翻唱于大先生乐队的经典摇滚乐曲 11 Home 没有他们2008年那首Home出名,但是比后来那首Home深情:没有你何谈家园 12* Lost in You 仅收录于英国版和日本版的专辑中 13 What Do They Know 爱要与人分享才能展现出它的力量,又一首深情的歌曲 14* Never Knew I Was Losin‘ You 日本版特别歌曲
【WESTLIFE】our story---chapter 16:Brian Shane: When Brian McFadden told us he was leaving Westlife,I thought we were being punk'd.It was a massive shock to us all, there's no denying that. Iabsolutely thought we were being punk'd. Nicky actually checkedhim for TV mics. I was literally waiting for the camera crew to burstin. But they didn't.Brian was serious. He was leaving Westlife. He'd told us a few times before that he was leaving the band, explains Kian. But we just put it down to Brian being Brian. He waslike that. He'd say, 'I really fancy a moped,' and he'd just go out, there and then, and buy one. Remember when we bought thosethree Ferraris and Brian had the canary yellow one? He was the sortof character who'd buy the first house he walked into, the first carhe sat in. He was impulsive, energetic - that's what was so greatabout him. So when he'd first mentioned this before, we hadn't actuallytaken it seriously, to be perfectly honest with you. He'd told me in a taxi some time before, admits Mark. Though Ihave to be honest, I couldn't remember it. He later said it'd been ina taxi after we'd had a drunken night out together. We used to goout partying quite a lot, Brian and me, and we'd drink and stumblehome and things got forgotten like any friends who go out partying.Maybe I was too drunk that night, I don't know, but I don'tremember him saying those things to me. If he says he did, thenhe did, but I just couldn't remember them.Perhaps, like everyone else, I just dismissed it as one of the thingsBrian said. There was no logic for him to leave Westlife. Apart fromour obvious huge success, his own specific role in the band hadnever been bigger. On the Turnaround album, he'd sung more songsand more brilliantly than ever before. His public profile was alsovery big, due to the massive press coverage of his wedding and aphoto shoot in OK! magazine. We'd done the promotion for 'Mandy', explains Kian, and thenhad the festive break. The first thing we did when we got backafter Christmas was a ChildLine concert in Ireland. We went outto a club afterwards with all the band and Louis as well, and hesaid to Louis then that he wanted to leave Westlife. I rememberit being passed around the band in the noise of that club but, again, no one took it that seriously. Not in any disrespectful way, just, 'It's Brian being Brian, you know.' That was our general attitudeagain.Next up was the Meteor Awards a few nights later, a big Irishmusic event. We'd won several awards so we were all having a tipplebackstage afterwards. Brian was drunk, like the rest of us, andagain he said he wanted to leave the band. We were in the dressingroom when he said it and when I replied, 'Ah, don't be silly,' he said,Tads, I'm serious,' and walked off and left the venue. We had somepress photo calls to do after, so we hauled Louis up with us so thatno one suspected anything was wrong. The next day was the first day of rehearsals for the forthcomingTurnaround tour. Brian showed up, but it was slow progress. Weonly learned one routine that day, so as we were wrapping up, Iturned to Brian and said, 'Look, Brian, what's the craic? There'sobviously an issue here. You've told us a few times now that youwant to leave the band, should we not sit down and talk about it?'Very calmly, he said, 'Yes, that'd be good.'We arranged to meet at the serviced apartments we'd all rentedduring the rehearsals. We all sat down when Brian arrived and said,'Right, come on, what's the story?''I'm hanging up my boots, lads.'Even though we'd all heard this before, this time we could see hemeant it, remembers Shane. It was such a shock, that's why I thoughtwe were on MTV being punk'd. My mind was a whirl. I couldn'tcomprehend that he would want to leave. He enjoyed so much aboutWestlife and he was a great fella, he'd literally give you the last shirtoff his back if he thought it would help you. He was our joker, thejester, the madcap ball of energy. So to be sitting there deadly serious, telling us he was leaving Westlife, it was just very surreal. We sat there for only about 40 minutes and talked about it, continuesKian. I couldn't believe he had the balls to leave. It was a hugedecision. At first, we tried to convince him otherwise. There was no animosity,no shouting; it was all very calm and respectful, just a quietconversation between the five of us. Nicky even suggested that wewent to counselling as a band.He wasn't interested, he was definitely leaving, says Shane, but hesaid that if it helped matters, he was happy to do the tour - whichwas starting in just a couple of weeks' time.We didn't think that was a good idea, so it was agreed he
