--- adam的Celeb Playlist on iTunes 美国版 ---------- 这是美国版,加拿大版有点不同 from Drea317 at IDF: Adam's Celeb Playlist is up on iTunes. He put 21 songs on it and commented on them. In case you're interested (which, I assume you are lol): 1. "Vogue" by Madonna: "I remember loving the lyrics to this song. The message was about folks of all kinds coming together through dancing to the music. The video features beautiful men being fierce. First taste of fabulous. 2. "Thriller" by Michael Jackson: "I loved the Halloween theme, 'cuz that was my fave holiday. The Vincent Prince spoken-word section was so haunting!" 3. "Whole Lotta Love" by Led Zeppelin: "The sexiest guitar riff ever. The breakdown in the middle is psychadelic!" 4. "Ooh La La" by Goldfrapp: "I adore both their uptempo and downtempo tracks, but T. Rex was the inspiration here. Electro-pop honoring glam rock? Dream come true." 5. "Fame" by David Bowie: "The Young Americans album has my fave Bowie sound. The funk grooves are irresistable." 6. "Kiss" by Prince & The Revolution: "Prince's falsetto was like nothing I'd ever heard. Sexy as hell pop-funk." 7. "Supermassive Black Hole" by Muse: "I'd been aware of their previous work, but when I heard this track I was in LOVE! The vocals and production are top-notch." 8. "Beautiful" by Christina Aguilera: "One of my favorite singers sending a stunning message in a song written by force Linda Perry. Inspirational." 9. "A Song For You" by Donny Hathaway: "This man's voice and emotion made me want to become a better singer. The things he could do with his instrument still give me goosebumps." 10. "Free Your Mind" by En Vogue: "These girls had the sickest voices and attitude. Their music videos were so glamorous! Funky divas who inspired Destiny's Child. 'Nuff said." 11. "Crazy" by Gnarls Barkley: "I couldn't get enough of Cee-Lo's voice, this melody, and the production of this defining tune. I ended up singing it in cabarets and felt I could totally identify with the lyrics. 12. "Angel" by Massive Attack: "One of the most aggressively sensual songs to get down to. Just puts you in a very seductive mood. (Wink.)" 13. "The Beautiful People" by Marilyn Manson: "He made hard goth-rock glam! I was intrigued by his take on androgyny and his controversial approach. 14. "Barracuda" by Heart: "Amazing riff with killer harmonies and power vocals. Rad, rad song." 15. "Criminal" by Fiona Apple: "This album was my teen-angst soundtrack. Her songs nursed me through my darkest shame and secrets and the unrequited loves of my youth." 16. "Bionic" by Christina Aguilera: "Her vocals in this take the other pop girls to SCHOOL. Production is an A+. I am entertained!" 17. "Song for No One" by Miike Snow: "I am such a huge fan, and this song is just so good! Simple as that, and amazing production. Great live as well." 18. "Robot Love" by Allison Iraheta: "Her vocals are so siiiiccck! I love my girl. She can sing anything." 19. "Clap Your Hands" by Sia: "One of the best albums this summer. The video, the song...everything about this is right." 20. "Back in Time" by Keane: "One of the best bands there is. Great lyrics and good groove." 21. "Rocket" by Goldfrapp: "I love the '80's inspiration in this. It is so good to see her going back and using some of the old musical styles that were huge in the '80's. I am a huge fan."
2010年7月ADAM LAMBERT GLAM NATION 巡演初采访 by Lena Lemora ADAM LAMBERT Interview with ADAM LAMBERT GLAM NATION TOUR June 2010 By Lena Lamoray ADAM LAMBERT is the reason why AMERICAN IDOL on FOX is the top reality talent show on television. Adam represents everything that you crave from a musician such as impeccable vocals, talent, charm, and always undaunted performances. Adam Lambert’s album, FOR YOUR ENTERTAINMENT is available now and features collaborations with the best of the best song writers like PINK, LADY GAGA, MATTHEW BELLAMY of MUSE, JUSTIN HAWKINS from THE DARKNESS, LINDA PERRY and KARA DioGUARDI to name just a few. Generally, when I listen to an album I hear a couple of songs that I really like and then the rest I always skip past but FOR YOUR ENTERTAINMENT is not that kind of an album. Each song has its own vital sign but as unique as they are to each other they come together in unity as a whole. There isn’t a shady song in the bunch! So, if you want an album with no fluff but pure genius pick up a copy, if you don’t already own it. Adam’s vocal range is astonishing and I can’t wait to see him live. Check out ADAM LAMBERT’S GLAM NATION TOUR!! I spoke with ADAM LAMBERT on a press call about his album, FOR YOUR ENTERTAINMENT and his current GLAM NATION tour. He had a lot of interesting things to say and took the time to answer all of our questions. It was a pleasure to speak with him and not only is he an incredible artist but he is an exceptional human being. Lena Lamoray: Now your album is absolutely amazing. ADAM LAMBERT: Thank you. Lena Lamoray: You’re welcome. So what was your experience like recording it and being able to collaborate with so many talented people? ADAM LAMBERT: It was really exciting. I think that for me one of the things that makes getting signed to a major label really exciting is that you have the access to working with some of the best producers in the business. And as a lover of pop music I have always realized that that’s really the key is that you bring your talent to the table and your ideas to the table and you can work with people that make things just sound incredible. And so that was probably the highlight for me. More Conference Call Interview Highlights: Q: Is it easier for you to emote the songs that you wrote yourself versus some that were written for you? Adam Lambert: I think usually when I write music I write from personal experiences. So it is definitely a little more familiar to me, whatever emotion I was writing about. But I will also say that all the songs that were chosen for the album are ones that I felt like I could relate to. So if I couldn’t feel like I could emote them I didn’t want to put them on the album, so I think I can emote all of them. But obviously the ones that I write are the ones that come from a personal experience. Q: Can we expect any collaborations on the tour this year? Adam Lambert: As of now, it’s pretty much me collaborating with my band and my dancers for the time being. But you never know. Things may change. I don’t set anything in stone.
