好吧,于是试试看翻译成英文是啥感觉……大家尽情板砖,以及不要被恶心到~这是Eva大人自己最喜欢的文之一,就这么活生生被我糟蹋了……Taxad
Chapter 1
When my name was on every history book of the middle earth, not everybody would agree I was a image of greatness. But most would agree I had been an outstanding archer. Nobody could imagine that, for a time, I was tortured when thinking about my archery, and that bows and arrows had once been my least favourite things.
How could people believe such things happen on me? That was the reason my elder brothers always frowned at me, not knowing what to do. Elves of the Mirkwood were all fearless soldiers and excellent archers. Yet the youngest son of King Thranduil could not hit the center of the target at several hundred years of age.
“Legolas has the keenest eyes and ears among all of us,” my third brother had always been on my side. Mother passed to the hall of Mandos not long after my birth. Father…undoubtedly Father had little time to deal with me, and my first and second brothers were just as busy. Therefore third brother had been a parent to me.
“He could perceive flying birds high above the sky earlier then I did since a very young age, and reacts sooner than me to every miner activities around,” third brother said, “and you’ve all seen him running, light as a feather and fast as a breeze. These are all great potentials lead to an excellent soldier.”
“These are all useless facts if he does not become a good archer.” Second brother was always sharp and straightforward.
“Oh, give him some time! He just needs to adjust himself to more skilled postures,” third brother said, forgetting how much time they had given me. Elves of my age had all been to the battlefields. As for me…the annual archery test had become my worst nightmare. I failed after retried, and retried after failed.
“We have the best mentor and training ground of Middle Earth. If there’s something missing, it has to be himself. He must try harder. I don’t think Father is willing to see his youngest son fail again.” First brother said, looking into my eye. His gaze always made me out of wits, and brought guilty feeling as if I was the worst offspring who brought shame to the House of Orophin. However, I’d rather be stared by him for half an hour than to be shot a glanced from Father even once.
