Celine Dion Names Twins Eddy and Nelson
She gave birth to twin boys over the weekend, and now Celine Dion has shared the names of her newborns.
The “My Heart Will Go On” songstress told press she’s been "going a little bit crazy trying to decide" on proper names for her boys, and finally looked to the men who have inspired her for their names
Celine and her husband Rene Angelil came to agreement on the names Eddy and Nelson and they couldn’t be happier with their selections.
Eddy is named after Eddy Marnay, the man who produced Dion’s first five albums. Nelson is named for Nelson Mandela. "René said that in just the few minutes they were able to spend with him, they were impressed by the human being he is," said their rep.
"Céline and René want their children to be inspired by their names, because they were so inspired by these men."
