这是一份来自法师协会麾下的科学家Myles博士的实验室报告，同时还结合了冒险家协会的Roy长官，以及地下墓穴的相关文书。Roy将会担任我的助理，协助我一同完成这份报告，以及之后的实验室报告。
九月10号①：今天法师协会的人拖来了一个活着的，或者说还存有生物活性的不死之物，同时简单地告诉了我当时在地下墓穴发生了什么。不幸的是，我对他们描述如何捕捉那东西的那段，感到有点不适。
结合历史材料的描述来看，这个生物的·特征与不死之人——僵尸吻合得最多。这个生物像是一个原本已经老死的老妇人。我们为这个新发现的僵尸取名为“New”。
从臭名昭著的Kaeman②进攻Castle③开始的四百年来，New是首个被目击并记录在案的僵尸。当我们与四百年前僵尸的记录做比较时，我们发现了惊人的相似性，简直就是理论上推导的结果一般。这些东西一心想要活人的肉。
This is the lab report of Dr. Myles, thescientist of the Mage association, in conjunction with the officer Roy of theAdventurer's Guild, and Documentation of the Catacombs. Roy will be myassistant with this, and also future Lab Reports.
Early Autumn 10: Today the mage associationhauled an undead organism into the lab, and I was given a brief description ofwhat it was doing in the Catacombs. Unfortunately, I was not present during thecapture process.
The creature matches most historicaldescriptions of undead humans known as Zombies. This specimen resembles an oldfemale, seeming to have originally died from old age. We christened the newlydiscovered Zombie, New.
New is the first Zombie seen and recordedin over 400 years, when the infamous Kaeman returned to the Castle. Whencompared to the previous records of Zombies, we found striking similarities,just as we theorized. They only care for human flesh.

九月16号：进一步研究发现，New还有如下的特质：它们身上的小伤口会自动愈合，但是腐败对于它们来说不算在受伤的行列，而是一种自然进程。同时我们发现，它们对于在自己周遭的人类会有感应。
九月29号：我们在每日例行的“尸检”中，注意到它的机体组织重生速度，要比以前更快了。鉴于这样的发展趋势，我们决定将我们的研究和试验推进至下一阶段：对它使用新鲜的人类死尸。
十月6号：New催生出了另外一个僵尸。我们将新产生的僵尸命名为Two。虽然现在尸变的传播机理还尚不明确，但是这个令人不安的发现引出了诸多问题。而这些答案，潜伏在在地下墓穴的深处。
十月7号：Two太过强大，它已经失控了，我们没能遏制住它残暴的性情。等我们赶到时，Roy长官已经死在了试验场地里，他已被残忍地肢解了。现在那两只僵尸已经被彻底销毁。

Early Autumn 16: Upon further study we havediscovered that the traits of New are as follows; Simple wounds are patchedover time, although its process of rotting seems to be natural. They also havea sense for humans that are within their vicinity.
Early Autumn 29: During our daily necropsy,we realized that its tissues are regenerating faster than before. In light ofthis evolution we have to take our testing to the next stage - fresh humancorpses.
Autumn 6: New gave birth to another Zombie.We named the newborn Two. While it is still unclear how the contagion spreads,this alarming discovery raises multiple questions. These answers can only befound in the Catacombs.
Autumn 7: Two is far too powerful. We havefailed to curb its vicious tendencies. Officer Roy was found dead in thetesting facility, ripped limb from limb. Both Zombies are now exterminated.

个人看法及注释：
① 原文中使用的是early autumn 10、autumn 6等，并没有出现具体月份，与skyblock游戏内日历是一致的，为了方便阅读，此处换算为了具体月份，译者注。
② 即Wither King，M7也是地下墓穴这个地牢的最终boss，译者注
③ 也就是现在的Castle Ruins的原建筑，设定上是法师学院，Necron和Kaeman都在这里学习过，在这篇文章写成时还没有毁坏，在后面的战争中被毁，译者注
本文提到的New这个僵尸，应该就是Karylle所遇见的，由她祖母尸体变成的那只，以及目前来看Hypixel没有给出后续的研究，推测可能是因为Roy长官被杀害，研究中断，同时按后续剧情来看，远征军没有活着回来的，研究也没有样本，无法进行。不过这项研究好像没有引起足够的重视，人们似乎并没有意识到不死族的厉害。以及冒险家协会的人这么菜吗，人家僵尸武器都没有就被图图了（）大头戏还在后面，现在都还是在铺垫。
