Nothing new around the band. They play on some of the summer fests and that's more or less what they do right now :) Let's hope that Ville actually do create the new stuff ;)
Now let's talk about the completely new project of Burton, for which I wanted to talk about for some time. The project is called Metel , and the album Absurd of creation. Listen to it and you will get the idea behind the name!
The members:
Aleksi Santavuori - Violin, Kantele, Birch-bark horn and Distant whimper
Emerson Burton - Keyboards, Noise box and Oral moods
Aki Trygg - Guitar, Hazard percussions, Bicycle bells and Voices
The album was out on 1st of May 2010 and is being on sale only as Vinyl. It's been recorded between October 2008 and January 2009 during a few improvised sessions. It contains 10 tracks:
